The E&E Productivity Nexus (EEPN) established under Malaysia Productivity Corperation (MPC) has the charter of enhancing the competitiveness of our E&E industry; particularly in increasing the productivity, capability and competency of the E&E sub-sector. One of the key focus areas is to create value towards the Industry 4.0 ecosystem. One of EEPN I4.0 initiatives is to organize I4.0 hackathons, which will feature an Artificial intelligence (AI) based machine v...ision system. A two-day virtual hackathon aims for participants to develop affordable AI-based machine vision Proof of Concepts (POCs) solutions, for potential adoption by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Hackathon hardware and software suite is based on Intel OpenVINO toolkit, running off any computers (minimum requirements are stated in the InforPack document). MPC would like to invite interested parties to participate as hackathon I4.0 Champions. The hackathon will be organized via online and to be held on 17-18 October 2020. The theme for the EEPN I4.0 VIRTUAL HACKATHON 2020 will be the Crafting The Future of AI Experience. The ideas and solutions to be developed should include AI technologies. The participation and other stakeholders are encouraged to be included as part of the proposed solutions and stakeholders. Some of the focus areas to be looked into are Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Track-and-Trace. 22.01.2022 |21 April 2019 |Easter Day Egg Hunting| Our 1st event in Curtin University Malaysia which cooperating with Sarawak Association for the Deaf Northern Region (SADNR) was a great success! This event provides a golden opportunity for us to carry out social contributions and responsibilities to the community especially to Miri Deaf Community. It also gives members a platform to experience social activities and train their soft-skills. We would like to thank SADNR, sponsors, Miri deaf community, committees and students for their participation and contribution in this event.
