12.01.2022 *********PUBLIC NOTICE********* The new Hendra vaccine has been launched today. The price of these vaccinations is still unknown and they must be administered by an accredited veterinarian. The vaccination protocol requires 2 injections 3 weeks apart for horses over 4 months of age and all vaccinated horses will be added to a national Hendra Vaccine Registry. Immunity is acheived 21 days after the 2nd vaccination and a booster will probably be required. For more information, please call Eagle Farm Equine Veterinary Hospital on 07 3268 4577.
