22.01.2022 Our next Social Day is to be held on Tuesday 21st August, 9:30am for 10:00am start. Please put this date in your diary: 13 hoops on B courts 2 games before lunch, 2 after No Handicaps level play (please provide Handicaps for grading)... $20 includes tea/coffee and nibbles on arrival, lunch and afternoon tea. 21.01.2022 So, the old brown building has gone at last and the car parks are all open again. Bit more trouble than was first thought, but today the remaining land and club house looks like this. Will be a while until it's all finished and #1 court restored to its former glory. Electricity should be on soon, so we can all have a cuppa again.

19.01.2022 What a great start to our 2 day inaugural Golf Singles Handicap Tournament, proudly sponsored by Mountan View Retirement Village, Leongatha. We have 16 players ...divided into 2 Sections, from 9 different clubs across Victoria. They include Monash Club, Rosebud Village Glen, Wonthaggi, Sale, Maffra, Warragul, Korumburra, Morwell and Leongatha. We were spoilt with a beautiful sunny day and hope the weather continues for the completion of the tournament tomorrow. Competition is keen and we look forward to an exciting finish tomorrow. 18.01.2022 Section one teams in the Ballarat Geelong Challenge. Ballarat won both sections, so Geelong will be coming back very determined to win next year. But this year Congratulations to Ballarat.

16.01.2022 The Eaglehawk Dahlia & Arts Show was on over the weekend - a great turn out despite it being a very hot, high risk fire day. Plenty of water to drink and everyone having fun, which was the main thing. Eaglehawk Community Croquet Club again had an entry in the parade.

14.01.2022 Great to see the lawn a hive of activity this morning as the Inner West Council grounds team swing into action for the annual light scarification and top dressi...ng. It does mean no play for the week, but this work plus recent weed control keeps the lawn in the best condition possible. Many thanks to the Council and staff for their continued support, which is essential to maintaining the club as a heritage asset in Marrickville Park. See more

13.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19): Due to the increasing risk to members of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and after careful consideration, the Eaglehawk Community Croquet, Committee of Management has decided to suspend all croquet activities from 23 March 2020, until 31 May 2020. This means that the Eaglehawk Community Croquet Club facilities will be closed for the duration, and therefore insurance for all activities, is also suspended. All upcoming activities and events will be postpon...ed or cancelled. Your Committee will be watching developments and will communicate any changes to you. This decision was not taken lightly. It is a preventative measure to support the health and wellbeing of our members and visitors, as well as the broader community. 09.01.2022 Sad news from Lois Munro Members Swan Hill Croquet Club, Sadly our GC Social Day is another statistic due to the Corona Virus!... We hope to see you all at our Next Golf Croquet Social Day on November 6th.

They just happened to take their mallets with them so called into Gomm Park in Albany for a morning... session of golf croquet with 24 accomplished club players. They are pictured with Arthur Simfendorfer from Albany who was intially coached in golf croquet by our Brian Hadley. See more

08.01.2022 Eaglehawk Community Croquet Club won the 1st Prize for our float entry in the Eaglehawk UFS Gala Parade, on Saturday 17th March 2018!! Category: Best Sporting Club Entry. Well done all and especially Barb, whose direction we gladly followed.

06.01.2022 We were pleased to welcome John and Jean van der Touw to Rich River on Monday and yesterday. John is the VCAs State Coordinator of Refereeing for Golf Croquet.... He explained the new rules and ran through some of the finer points of refereeing for the assembled referees from several clubs in the Goulburn Valley Croquet Association. Thank you so much for your time and expertise John and Jean, much appreciated by all who attended. In club golf croquet on Thursday last week 11 members battled the elements to play doubles and a trio. Two players won all 3 games. Ian Grant was the winner with +12 hoops, just ahead of Cheryl Lees on 10. Ian, Faye Zeally and Russ Smyth scored hoops in one. Yesterday 15 played doubles and a trio. Again 2 players won 3 games. Again Cheryl Lees was the runner up. Russ Smyth won the day with +15 hoops, ahead of Cheryls +12. See more

04.01.2022 We finally had our Opening Day! Tricia McCraw won the right to run the first hoop, so we rushed out between showers to get the ball rolling, so to speak. We are looking forward to a successful season.
