21.01.2022 The tee sheet... is now open. With the announcement of golfs' return this morning, Eagle Ridge Golf Course is excited to let you know that the tee sheet is open now for bookings from Tuesday onwards. However, like all announcements there are intricacies that we need to be aware of. While we wait for full clarification, the following will be in place for the next few days:... Open from Tuesday the 20th of October Playing in groups of 2 only No hire equipment Tee times will only be available up to Friday (future bookings after this will be adjusted in the coming days while we seek clarification) Photo ID will be required to ensure players are within the 25km radius All other COVID Safe policies are still in place, please refer to our website for further details. As always, please bear with staff while they adapt to these new adjustments. We, like other courses, get the same information you receive and must then clarify with governing bodies. 20.01.2022 What do we want? Golf without foggy glasses. When do we want it? About midnight tonight if that's ok? As of midnight tonight, you will no longer be required to wear a mask while playing golf. You will still need to have it on you (pocket, golf bag etc).... You will still be required to wear it within the clubhouse - there is no exception to that rule. There are further adaptions per the new rules which we will dive into, but let's be honest - it's the mask rule we wanted to really know about. No more going to sip that beer and hitting your mask instead of your mouth.

19.01.2022 ... and it's back. With the announcement this morning, we have some work to do to understand the new arrangements. We will, as soon as we can, make an announcement regarding tee times going forward.... But good job VIC - we are doing this together, stuck fat and summer is looking golden.

14.01.2022 We yelled "be good" and it was. While there are specific clarifications to come in the next 24hrs, we do know that from Wednesday the following changes will occur - Golf can be played in groups of four, with the ‘two household’ limit removed - Competition golf can resume... - Hire equipment is back including Carts (we are super cleaners, so they will continue to get scrubbed spotless with high grade cleaning products between each use) - Cafe and Hospitality is back. Therefor the Clubhouse will be open! We love this part, working out of a window was not fun. It was great to see you all but we will be glad to be back inside were we can feel our extremities again. Therefor bookings from Wednesday onwards will be adjusted to account for the below. A specific email regarding the above for public players and members will be sent tomorrow with further clarifications. We can't wait to see golf returning to its prime again and seeing you at the course soon. And again... those outside the 25km radius. All things considered, we now have a date. 8th of Nov. 12.01.2022 (Before you read the important update below regarding golf - just a heads up, course is looking mint! We can't wait to share it with you from tomorrow) Today we received an update from Golf Australia with updates regarding the return to golf. Some we predicted, some we can't understand and some we suspect will change quickly. Regardless, as always, we endeavour to follow the new rules and ensure we are looking out for everyone's safety.... Below are the updates from Golf Australia: - Golf can recommence being played in groups of two. - Club competitions can not be conducted. Social scores can, however, be submitted for handicapping purposes. - Practice facilities are closed All services must be delivered outside, including pro shop services. - Rental clubs, golf carts and pull buggies can not be provided for hire (GA are looking for further clarification regarding medical certificates) - Food and beverage facilities can not operate (GA are again asking for more info, as this doesn't align with take away shops etc.) - Clubhouses can open only for usage of toilet facilities - Members can only play at a course within 25 kilometres of their home, or permitted workplace Very strict rules compared to last time. What we can say is that at least we have golf back. We can see that Golf Australia are working hard to get some of the obvious items amended, but until then, these are the new formalities. This means that Eagle Ridge Golf Course is operating from the main entrance window, where you will be able to check in for your golf game and then head to the tee. Per previous communication, you must only turn up 10mins prior to your tee time or you will be asked to return to your vehicle. As always, the second we get any more updates we will be letting you know. Importantly, we are open tomorrow from 7am. Be sure to book online and we cannot wait to see you again.

All you need to do is... - Guess who will win the Masters 2020 and their Score (Eg. Adam Scott 7 Under) - Tag 2 mates who you will be gloating to after you win and have to carry your bag for your next game What do you win? A brand new stand bag from Titleist! Entries close after day 1 of play on Friday the 13th. If there are multiple correct entries, it will be the first person who got it right. Bag will need to be picked up 30 days after the winner is announced. If there is no bang on winner, the next closest will win a round of golf for 4 with carts! Good luck!
