11.01.2022 INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS: Our COVID policy has been updated, you can find it here (click link). We are looking to return to face to face course and program delivery as soon as it is appropriate to do so. We will not rush this.... We strongly encourage students to continue with their units while at home, and contact their teachers whenever help is needed. We will continue to do our routine 'check-ins'. Please remember we are not governed by the Department of Education and will make decisions based on our local community, local advice and the welfare of our community. A decision on when we will return to face to face classes will be made on Thursday 7th May 2020. We strongly supporters of the Australian Governments COVIDSafe App, and recommend all of our students and the wider community download and use the App. Stay informed, stay up to date, stay safe, stay busy with your studies. Stay home, but stay connected. See you all soon!
11.01.2022 A blast from the past!! In 2006 we first received government funding for our education programs. Sadly in 2014 it ended. Immeasurable gratitude to all of our corporate, community and local sponsors, as well as hard working volunteers for keeping us moving over the past 6 years, WITHOUT GOVERNMENT FUNDING. Hopefully we are not too far away from the NSW Government and Australian Government realizing how important it is to keep programs like ours open at full capacity to meet the needs of our young people.
11.01.2022 COVID ANNOUNCEMENT: We are returning to face to face course delivery 2 days per week (Thursday and Fridays) starting Thursday 14th May 2020. In summary and in line with community practice: -Students will be seated at least 1.5m apart at all times -Anyone showing COVID or flu type symptoms are to stay home (following our COVID policy, available on our web page) -hand sanitiser will be provided and must be used by everyone as they enter the premises -students are STRONGLY encouraged to download the COVIDSafe App to their phones
11.01.2022 A day to be greatful for all that is good in life and respect one another, regardless of cultural background or any other point of difference. A day to ignore the perceived differences between us and focus on what makes us the same. We are one. A day to reflect on the sacrifice of those who contributed to the foundation of our freedom, and maybe look at what we can do to maintain it.... Lest We Forget Forever greatful
11.01.2022 Congrats Elkie!! Great start, and good luck with your next course! #EaglesWinner #AWSIncommunities

06.01.2022 Reminder to all students, we are returning to face to face learning in our education and training programs THIS Thursday. Classes will be held on Thursdays and Fridays for the rest of this month. Of course anything can change but that’s the plan for now.... Students are STRONGLY advised to download and activate the COVIDSafe App. COVIDSafe procedures will also be enforced to look after us all! We are looking forward to getting back to normal as soon as we can.
06.01.2022 Lot's of talk about "exponential curves"... What this means is a curve which continues to not only rise, but get steeper!! You can see how this graph shows Australia's cases of COVID-19 are slowly stabilising, which is great, it is a result of us being responsible and following government guidelines. BUT... It would only take one group of people in any community to stuff it all up for everyone... Stay patient! Stay home!
05.01.2022 It looks like we are slowly winning the battle but there is still plenty of time to STUFF THIS UP!! Stay home!! Easter weekend will be a challenge for some, but remind yourself before you go out of the consequences of spreading COVID through your entire family or group of friends! ... Take care everyone!!
05.01.2022 We return to normal(ish) operations next week. All students are expected to attend Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, unless you are unwell or have flu type symptoms. AWS-ICT and HSC students will also be expected to continue with online work from home on Mondays and Fridays - personalised schedules/instructions will be issued.... COVID-Safe practices continue to be implemented
