Bree is our beautiful onsite manager here at Eagle View Escape, who along with her dedicated team has just spent most of the past year leading the business through the fog of the COVID19 pandemic - and continues to do so. We just wanted to take a moment to shine the 'spotlight' on Bree - it is no secret that the pandemic has challenged all sorts of business managers as never before, in fact if you place the business component to one side, I think most people could ...attest to the fact that in one way or another these rank amongst some of the most difficult times in memory for many. But Bree has one powerful leadership strategy that has enabled us to navigate the year well ...... and that is her kindness. True kindness Bree's been able to sprinkle a little reassurance over each day for staff & guests; has displayed bucketloads of compassionate listening, and in particular has made a conscious effort when required to validate guest's fears and confusion all throughout the uncertainties of this year. It has been described by many in different ways .... the art of creating intimacy; coziness of the soul; cocoa by candlelight etc etc. You will know HYGGE when you feel it, but some of the key ingredients are togetherness, relaxation, presence, coziness, contentment and comfort. The true essence of HYGGE is the pursuit of everyday happiness and its basically like a hug, just without the physical touch. I believe the Danish are very good at it!
