24.01.2022 I want to thank everyone who helped on the campaign. The time and effort you put in to make Port Phillip a more just and sustainable place will always be valuable. You've given voters a different perspective and challenged the selfishness of some candidates. Whatever happens, we will continue to stand for a future that is hopeful and bright. Thank you to all the voters who voted for me and a Green future too.

22.01.2022 A home is at the centre of stability for people. We must build more public and social housing. The Victorian Government has been very good at building prisons though.

16.01.2022 I’m sad to share today that in a tight race for Gateway ward that came down to preferences, I have not been elected. Being your Greens candidate has been an honour and I am disappointed that I will not get to be your voice in the chamber for people and planet. I congratulate the successful candidates, Heather Cunsolo, Peter Martin and Marcus Pearl. Run during the climate crisis and a global pandemic, this was an election campaign like no other. I was sorry to miss out on the ...experience of connecting with people in our community face-to-face and think that it’s been harder for voters to know who the people putting their hand up for Council are as a result. With a very different mix of candidates running in Gateway ward, postal voting for the first time in Port Phillip, this election was always going to be unpredictable. [While there’s much to analyse in terms of the result, what we know so far is that in Gateway ward no candidate achieved a quota in their own right and that on the whole, progressive candidates achieved much higher first preference votes than conservative candidates.] It is also heartening to see that across Port Phillip the most popular candidates were progressive local women. While I am disappointed that I will not serve as your local Councillor, I am so excited about the potential for us to keep working for grassroots climate action at local government level. We need to keep up the pressure at local, state and federal levels to secure a safer climate future for our kids. I look forward to working with the Greens (Cr Tim Baxter and Katherine Copsey) and other progressive councillors to advance a positive vision for our local community and environment that is going to be more important than ever during the coming term - will you help us? https://contact-vic.greens.org.au/civi/contribute/transact I would like to thank all who supported me through the election campaign and voted for me, putting your faith in me as your local Greens candidate. Your sacrifices and efforts will continue into the future as we bring about positive change locally. I’m going to reconnect with those nearest and dearest to me, but will be back on deck shortly, fighting alongside you for the things that matter. I’ll see you then.
