05.01.2022 Live near Batlow? .There are a few spots left to here Anthony Semann on Saturday 19th September. The Practice of Hope in a world of uncertainty A day with Anthony Semann... Saturday 19th September, 2020 Batlow RSL Club This event is FREE thanks to our sponsors listed. Morning tea and lunch provided. 9.00am Registration 9.30am - welcomes and arrival 9.45am - morning tea with opening keynote 10.45 - panel of service representatives talking about ‘curriculum which supports citizenship during turbulent times’ 12.00pm - lunch 12.45pm - final keynote and provocation 2.15pm close Our experience of living and breathing in the world right now has thrown up some challenges to the early years sector but also to all people across our globe. Early childhood centres do not operate in isolation from world events, and we are well placed to work with children as agents of change. This day will be a dynamic day of ideas, conversations, a panel of educators sharing their work and the opportunity to work as a collective to cultivate new ideas and new ways of working with and alongside families, children and our colleagues. Hope offers us comfort during turbulence and reassures us that ’this too shall pass’. but as it does we must build the capacity to navigate further challenges whilst not living in the dark shadows of those things that have passed. This event is not a public event. It can be accessed by the following link. One ticket per person. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/the-practice-of-hope-in-a-w We are very Covid aware. If feeling ill stay at home. Covid procedures will apply . This event will be presented on Zoom if the Covid situation changes.
