25.01.2022 Our favourite part of this week was learning all about our kindy friends Mums through their eyes we learnt some Mums like wine, some like beer & lots of Mums LOVE coffee There are some Mums who love to eat spicy things, fruit, vegetables and lots of Mums who LOVE chocolate There are Mums who work on computers and some Mums who LOVE cleaning but most of all we learnt that all of our kindy friends know they are LOVED by their #1 lady in their life Due to covid restrictions it wasnt quite like our normal Mothers Day celebrations, we hope the little gifts our kindy friends created for their Mums made up for it in some small way Happy Mothers Day for Sunday! #mothersday2020 #prekindyrocks

19.01.2022 Attn: 2021 Families please check your inbox for our update............ Good afternoon, following the press conference from Premier Mark McGowan earlier today, the Perth, Peel and the South West region will go into a five-day lockdown from 6pm tonight, Sunday 31St January 2021 after a positive COVID 19 result in the community. As we were meant to host our orientation sessions this week (Monday 1st Feb, Tuesday 2nd Feb, Wednesday 3rd Feb & Thursday 4th Feb) I unfortunately h...ave to advise you that these will now be cancelled. We will therefore commence our Term 1 next week (week beginning 8th Feb) as scheduled according to your child’s pre-kindy day. The only change being to us that there will be no orientation sessions this year. I will be setting up each child’s individual kinderloop this week where I will share all the hints & tips and information about week 1, so please keep an eye in your inbox for the kinderloop invitation and follow the prompts to set up. The news today comes as a big shock as we had hoped all of this was behind us. Any further updates will be provided as further information is made available. Fingers crossed we will be seeing you all week 1; 5 day lockdown we can do this!!

17.01.2022 We did it! 4 groups of kindy friends graduated this week ready to take on big school!! That’s over 400 kindy friends over the last 6 years that we have helped grow in independence, confidence and developed their thirst for knowledge. Not even a global pandemic could stop our little pre-kindy for too long! As we say every year, we are extremely grateful to all our families for the trust and faith they put in us to be their child’s first teachers, what a honour! So it’s goodbye to our 2020 kindy friends, remember just like Pete the Cat....whatever you do just keep walking along and singing your song....because it’s all good #prekindyrocks

16.01.2022 It was a fun week learning about all of our DADS! Our very observant kindy friends were able to tell us all kinds of special things about them! There are Dads who are as young as 6 yrs old & some who are even 100 Lots of Dads love to drink coffee beer coke, milkshakes, fizzy drinks, bubbles berocca & even whiskey There are Dads who love eating chilli & Dads who can fix everything some Dads mow the grass & dig up sand and others do typing and talk to people on their headphones There are Dads who lift really heavy things like weights & even cars and some are so strong they can lift a pillow & a teddy bear HAPPY FATHERS DAY for this Sunday to all of our special Dads #prekindyrocks

14.01.2022 Its been a crazy afternoon! Crazy in the sense that I have spent long discussions on the phone with the Education & Care Regulatory unit. The announcement that came this morning from the minister for education raised a grey area for us. With no clear direction coming from either the Education Department nor the Early Childhood Regulatory unit it has lead us to make an important decision off our own accord. The direction we received was as we are neither a child care or attac...hed to a school the decision is ultimately ours. We have decided our last day of Term 1 will be next week, Thursday 2nd April. We will be both at pre-kindy next week to care for our kindy friends who decide to share one more week with us. For now I cant say when Term 2 will start or if there will even be a Term 2?!? Perhaps we will start half way through the term, perhaps we start fresh Term 3....we dont have the answer yet. My heart is heavy as I type this, to have worked to the point of where we are today with full classes and long wait lists to have it all come to a sudden halt is heart wrenching! If you havent paid Term 2 fees please dont just yet, we will credit the final week of term in the next invoice for when we commence once again. Please hang in there with us, we cant wait to be back to our normal kindy days. This break is going to hurt, we hope you all stay safe & well.
