16.01.2022 Applications for Drama Academy 2021 are now open! This after school extra-curricular activity is run on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is open to all students in grades 7-12. Early in the year, we focus on theatresports/improvisation, as well as some scriptwork. Later in the year, we rehearse a play that is performed to an audience of the public. The Academy accepts 24 budding thespians each year! Interested students will need to submit an application form before November 30, 2020 (you can collect one of these from the senior office), and will need to perform an audition monologue in February 2021. 01.01.2022 The Wellbeing team have had a busy past few months of hosting various lunch time events for our students. At the end of term 3 for R U OK? Day we had some fun in the photo booth and acknowledged the importance of checking in with each other by asking that important question and then learning how to follow it up. We then began term 4 with Mental Health Week where we used the Life Ring activity to speak about what helps us when we feel like we are sinking. We also had our new Y...outh Development Team (YDT) help us plan Kindness Week with a different lunch time activity each day of the week which included the Kindness Tree, the Kindness Cup, and students finished off the week with a BBQ to raise funds for our Chappy Hannah so she can continue at Earnshaw for 4 days. Thank you to all of the students and staff who got involved and supported us with these wonderful events. - The Wellbeing Team See more
