25.01.2022 Have you ever being so excited you feel like you could burst? Well that's me at the moment, I am literally counting down the sleeps until EarthFest Friday|Satu...rday this weekend and I am over the top thrilled to be sharing the Friday with Costa Georgiadis Official, Costa Georgiadis and the kids from Aberdeen Preschool Aberdeen Primary School and St Josephs Aberdeen, not to mention Costa giving of his time to facilitate a community workshop. Then Saturday the festival will be jammed packed with dirtgirlworld and Scrapboy, Sustainable Education and awesome stall holders just like Mark Haynes Sculptor (Timber With Attitude, untrashy, Little Hands Make Magic, Oz Tukka and Earth Medicine & Cultural Connection. We are so grateful for the community support we have had in getting this event off the ground and there has been a lot of hard work put into making sure this event is successful for the local community in relieving some of the pressures of this catastrophic drought. Thank you to Cressfield for donating 500 trees for National Tree Day and when you attend the festival please take one home to plant, also Upper Hunter Shire Council and "The We Live Here" fund for your help on the day. Not to forget the Segenhoe Inn for allowing us to use your beautiful property. Plus, it goes without saying, Costa Georgiadis Official Costa Georgiadis, dirtgirlworld and Scrapboy for your support, you're amazing. See you there: - 10am - 4pm Saturday 27th July Segenhoe Inn 56 MacQueen Street, Aberdeen

11.01.2022 The power of working as one...

08.01.2022 Thank you for supporting our page and our business. We look forward to the publishing of our course textbooks shortly from our own ’print on demand’ publishing arm, and the sharing of knowledge of natural Earth medicines that support our healing holistically. We are currently organising Healing Circles locally and Universal Reiki classes, which include knowledge of all Reiki forms as well as the water energy, Seichiem, once our textbooks arrive.... Check out our website www.itsallrelative-emc2.com.au and feel free to ask questions or let us know if you have a particular area of interest that you may like information or courses on. Looking forward to building a healing community together. X

07.01.2022 It was my privilege to give the Welcome to Country on behalf of the Aboriginal community of the Upper Hunter at EarthFest in Aberdeen, NSW, on Friday afternoon and Saturday. These were fantastic days where all worked together to support each other through the current drought. I was asked for copies of the W to C and so I share this now below. This was written for Costa Georgiadis and all other knowledge holders that shared their wisdom at the events. ... Thank you to all that attended, those that came to visit me at my stand at Earth Medicine and Cultural Connection (EMC2), for the lovely feedback on the W to C that was given, to Costa for his support of cultural knowledge to heal our land, and to those that will participate in our Healing Circles and training in the future. Thank you also to the other stall holders, Mel at EarthFest and Segenhoe Inn for a fantastic event. The biggest thank you, and great appreciation, as always, goes to the volunteers on the day who were amazing. Next step, a local healing centre that will complement and support other local, established practitioners and provide additional therapies, training and knowledge to our community. Thank you all for your support. x Welcome to Country - Earthfest, Aberdeen, 2019 'Our Country gave us knowledge, it gave us its lore, to caretake and manage this land. Each valley, each plain, each mountain, each waterway, every part of this land holds lore for its people. This lore holds elements that are the same and elements that are unique to fit the differences in the landscape. How we care for rocky country is different to how we care for this land of the hills and plains. With each landscape will come unique language differences that allow our people to understand its needs and to undertake the duties laid down to them in the Dreamtime. 'This happened for every Indigenous people, in every country on every continent, although the story of the origins of their knowledge will differ. Today, much knowledge has been lost over time. Fragments sit with different people and in different places. This knowledge can and should be shared to assist in healing our land and working with the Earth so She may grow strong again and sustain Her people. 'The coming together of knowledge holders, as we will see here today, means that knowledge can be regained and remembered. It is then our role, every person that hears this knowledge and loves this land, to work together, to become one people with one intent, heal our Country so she does not suffer and call to us through drought and uncontrolled fire. Heal our land and we heal ourselves. 'It is my privilege, on behalf of the original custodians of this land, my ancestors; all nations of Aboriginal people that call this land home, my people; and all that live on and love this land, as I do; to welcome you here today to our Country, to share and grow as one and bring back knowledge. Welcome' Kate Wood-Pahuru 2019
