When you take the time to really reflect you will realize that everything you do is de...signed to achieve an emotional outcome. All of your life choices are designed to avoid pain and attract pleasure. Pretty simple when you think about it but it took me a long time to figure this out. Being German I have always had a strong affinity to logic. Yes, there is benefit in using logic to override out of control emotions, but only in the short term. Unless the source of your inner pain is addressed the emotional wound will continue to fester and sabotage you at every step. Seeking to address my own emotional wounds took me on a path of intense self-exploration and personal development. This ultimately caused me to switch careers from IT to NLP Training and Hypnotherapy (plus many other healing modalities along the way). If you want to make sense of your outer world you must first understand your inner world. Only then can you view life without excessive emotional distortion. Most people look at the world through a dark lens of emotional pain which causes them to feel powerless and victimized. Blaming others provides temporary relief but it is also extremely disempowering. It is only when we are ready to do the necessary inner work that we can find true happiness.

16.01.2022 It is easy to get overwhelmed when you are faced with a multitude of challenges simultaneously and the destination seems unreachable from where you are. At time...s like this it easy to "freeze" and become paralysed due to the overwhelming challenges. Resist the temptation to try and resolve all of the challenges at once and instead focus on something (no matter how small) you can do right now that will make your life a little better and help address one of the challenges you are facing. Once this is done repeat the process. Before you know it you will have less challenges to deal with and much greater clarity on how to tackle the big issues.
