21.01.2022 Hello everyone! Thought id check in to see how you are all going ? It certainly is heartbreaking not being able to let you enjoy your 'Me Time ' but i do hope you are well and safe at this very uncertain time. I do believe our mother earth has called her own shots and is telling us all to stop , breathe and go within ourselves and see what we are grateful for and for the things in our life that need healing and nurturing. I know we will all do this in our own unique way ...and i hope you enjoy the journey and come out the other end of this a stronger , better you. Ive had some very generous help the last few days and the overwhelm of gratitude is huge.. I have recieved groceries, wine , fruit and veg box and lots of calls and texts to see how i am doing. It warms my heart knowing i have very special people in my life , including all of my dear clients. Im going to think of ways to keep my business afloat whilst not being there and some ideas are in fruition now , many of these ideas i have teamed up with the beautful Jane , so keep your eye out on this page at the goodies coming your way. I am able to sell my skin care range ' Juniper' which is organic, vegan and made in the heart of Warriewood.. specials to come on the products ! Ive started meditating daily and i consider it my saviour ! Highly recommend trying this or if you already are , keep going ! My pilates machine has had the dust wiped off it and im using it daily and loving it so if you are doing a little exercise each day it will make a difference i promise you ! Ive been sitting on my balcony as i write this and i was manifesting a sign , some sort of sign to keep me positive .. right there infront of me , a gorgeous kookaburra .. that stared at me for so long it was a beautiful moment in time . 19.01.2022 Overwhelmed and excited to be back tomorrow! I've certainly enjoyed the break but I am also looking forward to doing what I love ..again. I've tweaked a few things around my business, hours being one of them and also adjusted a few prices of my treatments ... Im putting into place a cancellation fee so for those appointments that are not cancelled within 24 hours notice ( understanding that sometimes there's good reason ) there will be a 50% charge.. i think i am the last beauty therapist on the planet that is doing this , so the time I feel, is now . If anyone wishes to send a text or Facebook message out of my salon hours, I will attend to it the following work day.. not ignoring you, just separating work / life... so there's more time for myself , Bayley and our family and friends Due to the new Covid rules and regulations I will be seeing only 1 person at any given time, children to be left at home for now unless they are happy on the seat outfront. I'll be locking the door whilst with clients so if you are early , please do take a seat outfront I will have gloves, hand sanitiser and Sukin antibacterial spray at the door and also a quick form to sign upon arrival It will be very different for a while but I feel it will all run smoothly! 18.01.2022 I am able to do what I love again! I will be back in the salon Tuesday 2nd June. I will be making a few changes to my hours, treatments and prices over the coming weeks but in the meantime I will be preparing for reopening ... and have our lovely space ready for you all. ... 18.01.2022 Well i just saw a few April fools day jokes here on fb.. one being a headline ' bottle shops to close at midnight'... i nearly fell to the floor but then i realised it was a fool !! After i pulled myself together and went to check my wine stash and do a count i then realised something really great !! Today is 12 years since i started my journey with Earth Angels Beauty ... and what a journey it has been , when i think about the last 12 years im smiling alot because it mak...es me happy. You all make me happy and make me keep on keep on .. Normally i would have some specials going at the salon and id be there now with one of you , treating, chatting and most likely laughing and just being generally happy! Instead i am not there, im here at home helping Bay with some of her year 3 work... happy! Think i might cut some strips and wax my eyebrows to celebrate my 12 years ... and my new part time job of being a teacher ! 09.01.2022 Hi everyone, Well what a way for the year to end. Until further notice from the government the salon will be closed . Unfortunately Beauty Therapy trades and other small businesses are feeling a little disappointed and forgotten , though we are trying to plea for some financial support and there is currently a petition floating around on Facebook, please sign or if you already have, thankyou so much. I was looking foward to my 2 week road trip with Bayley this coming Monda...y, instead I will be here at home doing everything I can to stay afloat.. I will be organising DIY home kits again, tinting packs, foot care packs etc.. starting next week so please reach out if you need anything. Also, if anyone would like to purchase a voucher of any amount / treatment to redeem later ill be forever greatful. Its been a roller coaster of a year for me and ive had many great experiences and made amazing memories... aswell as doing alot of work on myself behind the scenes and letting go of the old and whats not needed for me in 2021.
