11.01.2022 An Earthbound Babies Baby Amy, thank you! Our birthing day was incredible. I couldn’t have done it without the Hypnobirthing practice, so amazing! Thank you for making the time for our class and for teaching women birthing tools. Such sacred work It rained the morning she was born. She came so peacefully, and she exudes a calm peace from her core. Born July 31st at 5:30pm. 7lbs 14oz. 21 3/4 long. Born in our home, into a warm birthing tub. I was held by Casey and Olive was there full of love watching her baby sister be born. My gratitude is immeasurable, feeling deeply blessed. Today her name finally became clear to us, Meet Lark Rain Zautke

05.01.2022 I thought long and hard about whether in fact I wanted to share Mabel's birth video here on Facebook. Giving birth is such a special and personal moment and I know that unlike my obsession with watching birth videos, they are not everyone's cup of tea. But the more I thought about it, the more I realised that I had to share it if I wanted to continue my mission to spread the positive birth message to the world. Unfortunately these days, women are inundated with negative stor...ies of other women's birth experiences. Everyone from their mothers, family, friends and even strangers, are quick to tell them the horrors of giving birth. They have been conditioned to believe that birth is associated with excruciating pain and because of this, women today hold an unprecedented fear of giving birth. This unfortunately then leads to exactly the thing they fear the most - a long, painful and disappointing birth. Birth should not be feared. When a healthy woman, carrying a healthy baby, trusts birth, is free of fear and is appropriately relaxed - her body will function normally, gently and calmly - just like nature intended. To me, birth is addictive. I have had three amazing experiences and I could honestly do it over and over again. I am sharing Mabel's birth video here today because I want to spread the news that birth can be beautiful, it can be empowering and it can be the best thing you have ever done in your life. It certainly was for me. As much as I am a big believer that raw birth footage is beautiful and natural and should not be censored, this video does not contain any nudity for the very fact that I want it to reach as far as possible. If by sharing my video I can help at least one woman achieve the birth that she desires - then I will be happy. 04.01.2022 On the last day of 2020, I was lucky enough to have supported my dear friend as she welcomed her fourth baby into the world. It was the first time I have been allowed inside the operating theatre and got to witness first hand just how incredible and strong cesarean mamas are. I will never forget watching Milo take his first breath and then the moment I got to cut his cord thank you for inviting me in to witness the magic @ainslie.sarahh x #Repost @ainslie.sarahh Photos... for Milo’s baby book. The first minutes of his life. I love this photo of Milo being loved by @amyosmanhodzic_, not only my beautiful friend but Doula for my birth. I knew this would be my fourth caesarean and I was carrying a lot of trauma from my past births and lots of guilt about having to birth my babies with so much medical intervention. There aren’t really words to describe what a difference Amy made to my experience. She is such a natural nurturer and the most calming presence. I will be forever grateful for her unwavering support not only during the birth but in the weeks since. So glad you have found your calling @earthboundbabies x
