22.01.2022 THE STORY OF WASABI BARBIE Justin(guitar) hit Ollie(drums) up about a new project of short fast loud 2 minute songs Early 2020, with the idea of a female fronted vocalist We put a few ads out around the traps & started writing our originals A few weeks later Jamie joined us as our keys man. ... After two months we had no female vocalists.............. I mean what female would join a punk band with Three +40 year old alcoholic men who just want play fast loud music!!!!!! Times were tough So, Justin happened to come across Kelly one night he was out drinking at the Empire Arcade where she was working, She was wearing a Black Flag T-shirt which was the sign he needed so he approached her, a total stranger & asked if she wanted to sing for our band.........
