21.01.2022 My Yummy Lactation Cookie Recipe! . Ingredients -2 cups organic rolled oats. -1/4 cup linseeds.... -1/2 cup organic rapadura or coconut sugar. -1/4 cup tapioca flour. -1/4 cup brewers yeast flakes. . -1 TB fennel seed or fenugreek. -1 heaped tsp baking powder (aluminium free). -1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt.. -1/2 cup almond butter or tahini. -1/4 cup organic butter or coconut oil, melted. -2 eggs. -1 TB raw honey, rice syrup or maple syrup. . -1/2 tsp. organic vanilla essence or 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste. . Method.... . 1. Pre-heat oven at 175 degrees Celsius. . 2. Blend the 2 cups of rolled oats, linseed, fennel/ fenugreek seed in Thermomix or food processor until consistency is that of flour. . 3. In large bowl, mix all dry ingredients. . 4. In small bowl, mix all remaining wet ingredients. . 5. Combine both mixtures well, with spoon or hands. . 6. Form small flattened balls, lay on baking paper lined tray. . 7. Bake cookies in oven for 15-20 minutes. Wait for cookies to brown. . 8. Remove cookies and transfer to a cooling rack. . 9. 13.01.2022 BRRRR Who else is feeling the chill in the air? . I must say up until a few week ago we have had very mild days/night. But lately ive been so cold! . As winter creeps in it is an ideal time to start supporting your immune system and nourishing your body to prepare for colder seasons. Key ways to do this is to support gut health (as 70% of your immune cells are in the gut)...... . There are many ways to do this through food! Here are my top tips! . Start to include more cooked foods and reduce the raw foods. Include fresh garlic into your meals (garlic is natures antibiotic) Include "warming" foods/spices into your diet; ginger, garlic, cinnamon, turmeric, peppers etc Include bone broths 3 times a week (preferable home made, but its a good idea to keep some powdered broth on hand for quick use) Include fermented foods (sauerkraut, miso, kombucha) Reduce excess dairy consumption Reduce/ eliminate gluten intake Ensure you are eating enough protein rich foods Reduce your sugar intake Ensure you are eating loads of coloured veggies . We all know how babies and toddlers like to throw their dinner plates, so its no surprise why parents prefer plastic dinnerware- but unfortunately most of these children's dinnerware are made of toxic plastics and melamines which contain many hazardous chemicals! . 05.01.2022 So I have finally found the BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE! Here it is! . Ingredients: 75ml water 50ml melted butter... 1 egg 250gm gluten free flour pinch of salt . Method: Combine water and eggs in large bowl Slowly add half the flour in whilst stirring Add in the butter and salt Add the rest of the flour in Knead the mixture for at least 10min Keep kneading till the consistency is smooth and stretchy Roll into a ball and cover with a wet towel and let sit for 10 min Divide to required size, roll into ball shape again then roll flat with rolling pin Add sauce and toppings Cook on 180 degree c for 20 min Serve and enjoy .
