24.01.2022 These are samples of bamboo Saké cups and jugs that I was commissioned to make for Robert De Niro's birthday party celebrated at Nobu Restaurant at Crown in Melbourne back in 2007. Someone contacted me and was thinking of doing something like this as a business so I am posting these for inspiration.

11.01.2022 In recent times I have been trialing various bamboo shelter designs for wildlife. In particular nesting hollows for birds which may also serve as shelter for small marsupials and bats. Also shelters for tree frogs and aquatic shelter for Crustacea and small fish. It hasn’t taken long to see some success and my first 2 nest boxes have Pale-headed Rosella chicks in the now. 06.01.2022 Our bamboo biochar has been in demand lately and stock was getting very low but we have fired up and the black gold is building up again. The photo is char in the kiln not in the crushed state we supply it.
