12.01.2022 Calling all VCE Environmental Science students!! EEV's Tertiary & Secondary Liaison Manager Jorja McKinnon, will be presenting the Environmental Science Mast...erclass called 'Where am I, where am I going?' this afternoon at 4.30pm as part of this fantastic series hosted by EarthEd. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better than having a VCE Masterclass tailored especially for your subject...you find out that it's FREE! The Masterclass explores how the Environmental Science study design looks at multiple aspects of environmental management, conservation, energy and pollution all in an integrated way. This means that sometimes it is not always easy to see how all these elements are related and build on one another. This session will provide students with an overview of the Environmental Science study design for all the units and is suitable for Year 11 students just starting out or Year 12 students to recap where they have come from and see clearly where they are going. To book for this afternoon's Environmental Science Masterclass running from 4.30 - 6.00pm, visit the link below https://earthed.vic.edu.au//where-am-i-am-where-am-i-going/ . . . . . 10.01.2022 It's R U OK? Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say after R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK?... Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. 01.01.2022 We had a fantastic day with the Year six students from #pleasantstreetprimaryschool who participated in our ‘Launch into Stem’ rocket program. It was a special day as two ex teachers from PSPS got to go back and enjoy the great thinking, problem solving and creativity of the student as they worked through the design process to build, test and refine their water rocket designs. We think Mr. E had the best time launching his model rocket but were proud of the enthusiasm, engagement and energy of the students. Well done to all the students.
