21.01.2022 For our farm tour yesterday I met the lovely Bec - along with her gorgeous Mum, sister and two sweet girls. Such a beautiful family and it was joy to show them around and pick some buckets of flowers together. It’s so lovely to meet genuine flower enthusiasts who love colour, texture and flower beauty as much as me. Bec’s sister Gabby @pomegranatesforpixies is talented jewellery maker too. 21.01.2022 Had the most fun playing in the flower studio this evening practicing my design skills. Spent a good couple of hours wandering the farm beforehand choosing the best stems to create with ...then listened to some mellow tunes while putting together some beautiful combinations of colour and texture. 20.01.2022 Before the rain....bracing for our storm/heavy rainfall this afternoon and 2moro. Although we really need the rain after a much drier than usual March - we just don’t need lots of rain damaged petals .... especially on my new flush of Autumn roses that are just beginning. This beauty is called ‘Elysium Fields’. 16.01.2022 Cleaning out the tractor shed this week. This will be the space we check in guests to the farm on our Open days (hopefully starting late Jan/early Feb - stay tuned). 11.01.2022 Impromptu Open Farm today!!! (Sat 27/3) at 3pm - come and pick a jar of flowers with us for $25. We have had some cancellations due to rain this morning (so sad!) and as this is the last weekend we are open before we need to get our Autumn plantings underway next week - we are opening the gate to welcome you all. Come and help us clear the field of blooms.... Jar & snips provided. No need to book - but please message to say you are coming. Kids welcome but must be supervised at all times. We have card tapping facilities. Please arrive just before 3pm for the greeting and cutting tutorial. 10.01.2022 Such a gorgeous morning for ‘Yoga & Blooms’ today. The early morning sunshine peeking through the trees and twittering birdcalls were the perfect setting for a relaxing stretch. Afterwards we all headed out into the field to pick some flowers and I love seeing all the different colour combinations and choices that our guests create. Thank-you so much to everyone who came today. We only have one more session next Saturday morning to book in .... so don’t miss out! X
