25.01.2022 Playing catchup this weekend going through the camera roll. There are so many cakes that have gone unposted! Here’s a sweet little triple layer.

24.01.2022 Let’s clear this up. Instagram is great. It’s probably the GOAT. But as a messaging app, it is far from ideal. Enquiries come in daily, in so many different ways: text, phone, email, FB Page message, even personal inbox. Understandably, these can get tricky to keep on top of! But by far, the least effective way to get in touch is by IG message, because they fall into a Requests folder, and there is no notification for these. Would be great to be able to turn off this option, but that’s not in our power. At the moment we are taking orders for October - to those needing last minute orders this week, so sorry to disappoint but we’re at absolute maximum capacity with orders, with only a couple of spots possibly available in late September. The best way to contact @earthlingsbakery is by email or Facebook message. Thank you!

23.01.2022 WAKAWAKA! This Pacman cake is absolutely PACKED with candy on top! Triple layer red velvet cake topped with all the vegan candy you could ever want, thanks to @candyqueensau Pacman characters all edible, and hand-cut & crafted. Had fun making this one!

23.01.2022 Double layer chocolate cake for a baby shower! One of the highlights of this job for me is that I get to meet some of the nicest people and I am so grateful for this. I truly feel I have the kindest customers! I love creating these cakes for them to enjoy on such special occasions that they will always remember.

22.01.2022 Just a little carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, made for smashing. I’m not sure if the customer actually smashed it, but that’s how I feel about carrot cake. Made for smashing in your face. The person who ordered this cake ordered another the very next week, so I’d say it’s a hit!

20.01.2022 My Gamer kid turned 12 so it had to be an Undertale cake! Double layer chocolate sponge with all the leftover buttercream I had from Christmas No complaints! It tasted great with all the multiple coloured and flavoured icings inside. A vanilla flavoured black fondant with all decorations handmade and edible.

16.01.2022 What day is it even. My apologies to anyone who has ordered recently that I haven’t gotten back to- things have been wild. Thanks for your understanding while it hasn’t been business as usual. I’m still taking on occasional orders and providing quarantine snacks while I have access to the ingredients and we aren’t in total lockdown and also upholding the highest hygiene practices obvi. 12.01.2022 I love Pixar. I’m a huge fan of all things Disney! It was thrilling to create this Toy Story cake, which was a triple layer chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Little toys added for decoration, provided by customer. Still finding fondant work super tricky and it was by no means perfect, hopefully these holidays will allow some time to work on these skills.
