Book Here: https://www.trybooking.com/BMEXS "Previously known as Andie, DEE has chosen to rebrand herself amidst a new stage in life. DEE has made a shift from accompanying herself on electric guitar towards nylon string guitars, to convey the somber and epic nature of her current soulful folk songwriting. Standing at 4’11 and half, with steel lungs, infectious laughs and a totally DIY kitted out school bus as a house, DEE is synonymous with her raw lyricism and relatable energy." Afternoon Delights is a series of intimate musical performances, curated by Music Hunter for adventurous audiences. Join us each Sat at 3pm, in the charming Avalon DOWNSTAIRS lounge, with a complementary mulled wine on arrival, before enjoying a two set LIVE performance by brilliant musicians. 20.01.2022 This Sat 3pm Music Hunter, Blue Mountains, and Avalon Restaurant feature Dreams of Falling. This new incarnation of the group comprises John Shand- on spoken word and percussion, (yep the one from #SMH music reviews and who has been a guest on our radio show.) Rebecca Daniel- violin and vocals and Martyn Cook on Irish electric harp. Dreams of Falling creates diaphanous music both as an end in itself and to frame the poetry of #Walkley Award-winning writer John Shand. The ...music variously draws on English and #Celtic folk traditions, or consists of #improvised soundscapes and dialogues. When combined with poetry that can be meditative, searing, humorous, erotic or surreal, the upshot is a series of sonic dreams in which to forget a more prosaic world. All details inside this event link.
