Requirements:... - Excellent ability to weld with MIG and Arc in all positions (certification is not neccesary, but you will be tested) -Excellent mechanical knowledge covering a wide variety of machinery (once again, no certification required, but you will be put to the test) -Ability to be part of a team in a remote area working in tough conditions -Trade certification in metal work or fitting will be highly regarded -Certifications for machinery operation, and working at heights will be an asset This is a unique opportunity for skilled individuals to put their skills to work on something to take pride in. 14.01.2022 By designing in this style, we managed to reduce the total weight of steel by nearly 30% from traditional building methods, while maintaining structural integrity in a cyclone prone area. This project required significant thinking out side of the box. Highly unpredictable and strong winds meant that lifting with cranes was ultimately too dangerous, so alternative lifting techniques were used. Roof panels were required to be formed on site, with custom roll forming machines, ...specifically designed for this task. A 34m long hydraulic lift trailer was built to transport and raise the 1.5T roof panels and winch them into place.
