21.01.2022 I find my classes fill quickly, months in advance, so please do not just press the Going button on the event page as I may not see that.....I have a busy life and had lots of enquiries and lots of people wanting to book in, to secure your spot you will need to message me and pay via Paypal!! Looking forward to teaching you soon....sometimes its not about the Weaving, deeper things emerge in each class which I find so fascinating......using Craft as a Healing, Meditation and Self Enquiry!! <3

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, due to Covid Lockdown for the next five days I shall sadly have to cancel the Rag Rug Weaving Workshop due to happen on Monday.....will be in touch to arrange another date for those booked in!! Stay well and sane!! My eighth rug is at more than 170cm across now....

20.01.2022 <3 I have been busy sewing up pouches and pouch liners for the injured and orphaned animals that Wildlife Carers will be getting in now from the devastation of all the bushfires.....Its such a good way to take the focus off what is going on, to keep my mind and hands busy, and any craft becomes a Meditation, which is also Mindfulness, which is calming and relaxing!! <3 Its what I can do to help......I am also looking forward to getting back to teaching weaving soon....my next Rag Rug class is on Saturday 11th January which is full....I will be messaging those people booked into classes in the week before the one you are attending with more details!! Stay tuned!! <3 Hope you all are staying safe too.....<3 May the fires be extinguished soon and May all Beings Be Safe!! <3

20.01.2022 Hi all....I hope your Christmas and New Year were both Peaceful and Gentle.....and that 2020 is all you wish it to be!! <3 Its been an intense start to the new decade with extreme weather and bushfires in areas all over Victoria starting up and going for weeks already, alongside the ones that have been burning in NSW for months.....Lets hope the rains come soon and help to put them out and that everyone stays safe......<3 I have been inspired to make some 100% cotton pouches for injured and orphaned native animals....if you are able to perhaps you may like to have a go, they look fairly simple! <3 Blessings for your week and hope to see you at a workshop soon if you have expressed interest or paid and booked in already!! <3 Take care and stay cool!! :-) https://www.wires.org.au//wildlife-f/making-possum-pouches

16.01.2022 Hello and I hope you are all staying well and coping with what has been occurring to challenge us all over the World! As Isolation progresses, but with slow opening up of some businesses and parts of Society here again in Australia, I am thinking about when teaching Rag Rug Weaving Workshops can restart. It is all a big unknown and so slowly slowly is best in my mind!! My Soap Making Workshops are beginning to be arranged for September so I will look at Spring as being a potential Beginning... How appropriate!! So with that in mind, continue to save your clean old cotton sheets and doona covers if you are interested in attending a Rag Rug Weaving Workshop when they begin again....

15.01.2022 Ten percent of my workshop fees is being donated to Wildlife Carers who have lost everything in the bushfires, to people struggling from the trauma and to the CFA!! Thank you for attending them and supporting me too!!

13.01.2022 Good Morning.... Happy Spring and welcome to the warmer weather at last, at least for this weekend!! Six and a half months of Lockdown, enforced staying at home and no teaching since mid March... Not even sure if classes can go ahead this year.... Hope you are all keeping yourselves occupied in meaningful ways..... My classes will hopefully be back up and running in the coming months.... Stay well!! Here is one of my favourite handmade recycled rag rugs in pride of place on my bedroom floor.....

13.01.2022 Good Afternoon.... So nothing in the way of classes looks like its going to possible any time soon.... Let's see how November pans out with any new Gvmt directives to stay safe and well in these crazy times!! Don't know about you, but Spring for me is busy with Seed and Seedling planting, mulching, Soap Making so it's ready for Christmas, and just getting out walking in the drier warmer days in the beautiful Nature places I am surrounded with up here in the Dandenong Ranges... Hope you all stay well and happy with your lives.... Stay tuned for any possible Rag Rug Weaving Classes which may be able to happen outside before Christmas....

07.01.2022 Six more baby rag rugs begun by six more happy women!! I love how each of these groups is so diverse, with many different conversations and issues talked about depending on who comes!! And Silence, and Mindfulness!! Single Pointed Focus, Meditation in Action and Self Awareness!! I love planting seeds!!

03.01.2022 Good Morning!! Not a lot of teaching going on here these days.... No Workshops for the last four and a half months.... An enforced holiday at home which has been very welcome!! So I have been sewing up Rice Bags with three layers of thick cotton fabric...... I heat one up in the microwave for five minutes just before bed and it is great to warm my back, my belly, my toes, my neck... Anywhere that needs some heat... Does not smell like Wheat Bags do.... Wet Winters Day Activity in the Dandenong Ranges during Covid Lockdown!!

02.01.2022 The first Rag Rug Weaving Workshop of 2020.....I love how it unfolds. A group of women sharing stories, sharing laughter and pain, sharing skills and sharing food!! Five women and a teen girl today, and this is what was made..... New skills for a new year!!

01.01.2022 Good Morning... Well not much action has been happening on this fb page for me for a while.. ... But a lot of activity in my home recreating a more open, beautiful and Peaceful living space during these Lockdown times!! I hope you have all managed to keep yourselves busy whether with family, kids, animals, work or hobbies... Or all of the above!! I actually have never been busier!! I was given some very wide curtains with thermal backing which I washed and cut to s...ize and machine sewed to fit my dining room windows.... It's a good feeling after living in this house for eleven years and being able to do a big shuffle around of furniture, cleaning away accumulated dust and cobwebs!! Living in the bush, bringing in fire wood and having been a single mum to three children has been a juggling act of priorities over the years! As my kids have grown older and more independent (15, 22 & 24 now!), I have found more time and energy for these things, especially because we have been home for nearly four months now!! I am dreaming of running classes and Craft and Women's Circles again.... A big shift has happened for me in these times!! Stay tuned for the potentials of Spring Gatherings..... Stay well and warm!!
