25.01.2022 Out for our daily family exercise. Stopped on the breakwall and the boys and I all looked as far away as we could. After weeks of business pain and hardship, on the horizon I could see hope. Hope for my businesses, hope for the safety and well-being of my family, friends and staff. Hope for my own ability to deal with this crisis on a number of levels. Things have been hard, shit has got real but we are all in this together so lets help each other get out the other side bigger, brighter and stronger.. #hope #hanginthere #stoicstaff

24.01.2022 We learnt some very interesting stats at the recent Bushfire Recovery Summit.

23.01.2022 A Managers work is never done!! It was great to be out on the grounds again, you can really appreciate how hard everyone in the park works when you put yourself in their shoes once in a while.

20.01.2022 To celebrate the 100th episode of ‘That Bad Review’ podcast series, I chatted with Australian actor, musician, long-standing TV host and more recently holiday park owner, Frankie J Holden. Frankie shared his experience around falling in love with the caravan and camping industry, while hosting the TV series ‘What’s Up Downunder’ and what he has been doing since, including co-owning the beautiful Tathra Beachside. #holidayherethisyear #podcast #accommodation #tourism #travel #holidaypark #owner #musician #actor #host #episode #industry #Australia #future #lovensw http://adrianeasdown.com/frankie-j-holden-on-falling-in-lo/

17.01.2022 Richard Beere is the Managing Director of Fastrak Asian Solutions and the Chair of Destination Southern New South Wales. With over 40 years’ experience working in the Tourism Industry, Richard possess a wealth of knowledge. I was keen to chat with Richard, and hear what advice he has for industry stakeholders. Richard’s insights are even more valuable at this period in time, as we navigate through uncharted waters, not only within the tourism industry, but throughout every industry across the world. http://adrianeasdown.com/richard-beere/ #accommodationindustry #businessgrowth #diversity #podcast #podcasthost #guest #resilience #targetmarkets #tourismindustry #tourism #travel #tips #business #insight

12.01.2022 On this week's podcast I chat to Sean Haylan and Steve Rosa, about the importance of a locally-led recovery process in the wake of the devastating bushfire that swept across the East Coast of Australia. The episode is part of a podcast mini series my team and I produced, to capture key messages from the Visitor Economy Bushfire Recovery Summit, held at Willinga Park last month. It was an honour to partner with the summit hosts, and interview industry leaders and ex...perts, so those unable to attend the summit could have access to the information and resources shared at the event. 11.01.2022 This week on the ‘That Bad Review’ podcast series, I present the third episode in the Southern NSW Visitor Economy Bushfire Recovery Summit podcast series. Episode three begins with a conversation between Graeme Haycraft and I. Graeme was instrumental in the tourism recovery efforts on behalf of the Murrindindi and Mitchell Shire Councils, after the Black Saturday Fires of 2009. Graeme shares some great advice, based on his own experience in crisis management and disaster rec...overy processes. In the second half of the podcast, I chat with Jeremy Wilshire, the Major Events Manager for Destination Wollongong. Jeremy was the MC at the Bushfire Recovery Summit. Throughout the event, Jeremy encouraged attendees to contribute their ideas to an action wall. At the end of the event, the ideas were collated into topics and discussed. These ideas formed the basis of feedback from the summit, which was provided to the appropriate government organisations. Jeremy and I discuss some of this feedback on the podcast episode. http://adrianeasdown.com/graeme-haycraft/ #holidayherethisyear #podcast #accommodation #tourism #travel #holidaypark #lovensw #bushfirerecovery #adrianeasdown #thatbadreview #localeconomy #dsnsw #dsss #dnsw #destinationnsw
