19.01.2022 Entries have opened for the annual East Gippsland Youth Art Prize, which will provide a platform for aspiring and emerging young creatives, aged 12-25 years to showcase their talent. And better still, cash prizes are up for grabs, with the winner to receive $300. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the runners up in each age group and a people’s choice for each age group. Entries close on 2 December, with the launch of the East Gippsland Youth Art Prize virtual exhibition and announcement of winning entries on 7 December. The exhibition will run throughout the month of December 2020 and January 2021 via the BraveArtsEG Virtual Gallery.

18.01.2022 South East Summer features new work from Gippsland Artists, Alfie Hudson, Chris Mongta and Patricia Pittman. Featuring a stunning series of very limited edition linocut prints and drawings and paintings Image: Alfie Hudson, Bogong Moths Limited edition linocut print 2020... The Bogong Moth is special to me as a Gunnai Kurnai/ Monero man from Gippsland in south eastern Victoria. Through my eyes, this moth represents gatherings of all the different tribes from north, east, south and west, who would come together in the mountains to collect Bogong Moths for feasting and celebrations, sharing stories, knowledge and trade.
