24.01.2022 In the Loddon Valley, we want to ensure that all visitors to our region have a memorable experience and are taking the correct precautions when choosing to trav...el. It is important that advice issued by the State Government is followed to help our region, the tourism industry and our entire state to get back up and running as quickly as possible. From 8 July 2020 at 11.59pm, there are two levels of restrictions within the state of Victoria: 1. restrictions for those living in the Melbourne metropolitan area and Mitchell Shire 2. restrictions for those living in regional and rural areas Before making the decision to travel, please ensure you have identified which restrictions you must follow. Further information can be found here: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victorias-restriction-levels-co We would also like to point out that many of our local businesses have social distancing and hygiene measures in place. These are requirements for them to continue operating. If you are asked to sanitise your hands when entering a store - please do so to protect yourself and others. If there is a restriction on how many can enter a shop at the one time - please comply with this number and wait outside if needed. Keep in mind to respect each other’s space at all times, even if you are outside. If a caravan park asks you to do a temperature test upon arrival please allow them to do so. This is to ensure you are healthy and can enjoy your holiday. If a business asks to record your contact details remember, this is to help you in the case of an outbreak. We’re in this together. Stay safe.

17.01.2022 Hope everyone is staying safe and keeping themselves busy. I took some pics yesterday afternoon on my little walk with the clan.

15.01.2022 Wether they're still in use or just left as a they were the last time a team worked there, Woolsheds will always be a favourite of mine to photograph. That light - dayum!

12.01.2022 Yesterday I had the pleasure of making the journey to Serpentine to meet the Legends that are the Holland family on their beautiful East Loddon property. It wa...s well worth the trip north on the absolute ripper of an afternoon that we had, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sure I fell in love with not only their old Woolshed, but their whole farm in general - What an awesome part of the country! If you fancy some photos of your own family, shoot me a message and we can organise something today!

10.01.2022 Frost & fog = Very chilly this morning -2

05.01.2022 Nothing better to do on the weekend - why not crutch some sheep. Yes it is still a functional shearing shed but nowadays we only use 3 or 4 stands. In years gone by the shed was set up to have 28 machine shearers. The number of people required to keep the shed going was in excess of 70 men. This number included drovers, pen fillers, rouseabouts, tar boys, broomies, skirters, piece pickers, a classer, several pressing up men, cooks and wagon teamsters.

01.01.2022 The old Cook's Quarters In need of some TLC but that is on the list of things to do.

01.01.2022 Women on Farms Gathering - 28 March has been postponed

01.01.2022 Beautiful drop of rain we’ve had over the past week to freshen up the crops. Now to complete a pool landscaping task while the ground is soft, with the assistance of Frasier and his home schooling Gateways project. Love having him home to help. More pics as the landscaping occurs.
