24.01.2022 HOP, HOP, HOP ...... did you know that even though 1st East Ryde Scouts has been in operation since 1959, Joey Scouts only officially became a section in Australia in July 1990 with the East Ryde Joey Mob commencing in October 1990. This week on Children's Week, we celebrate our youth members, their achievements ...and their right to safely participate in programs like Scouts. Our youth members are at the core of everything we do, and we're committed to creating an environment where all children and young people feel safe, supported and protected. We have developed videos for our youth members and adult members to highlight this commitment. The videos also outline the responsibility we all share in keeping our young people safe so they can develop the skills to take on all that life has to offer.
