13.01.2022 Good Morning Crows Fans! As I look out from the nest this morning, there isn’t a cloud to be seen. My feathers are crossed for an uninterrupted day of cricket t...oday as the lads are chomping at the bit to get out there and strut their stuff for a full day. As I flew round the grounds last weekend I witnessed some magnificent individual performances by both young and experienced Crows alike. Coby Fitzsimmons showed what we all know he is capable of by cracking his first ton in First Grade (red ink too). Before rain intervened and stopped the boys from backing up his good work. At Crow Park it was the Michael Westland show, picking up 4/23 and whacking 44* to get the Seconds a Duckworth-Lewis affected win. Then over at Xavier, Kurt Jensen struck a magnificent unbeaten 54 on debut for the club before play was halted. Today sees First Grade return to Alexandra Park for the first time since Round 1 to take on Wodonga Raiders. Second Grade are at Birallee and C Grade are at their old stomping ground of North St against New City. A little birdie tells me that First Grade skipper Brett Davies was so keen to get stuck into last weekend’s match that he arrived at the ground 2 hrs before play was due to begin and before a groundsman had even marked up a wicket. Whether this is part of his thorough preparation for a game or by mistake is yet to be seen.... As always I look forward to seeing everybody back at The Newmarket Hotel at the completion of today’s matches and I wonder who the lucky Crows Lotto winner will be this week???

12.01.2022 Huge day for the club yesterday with us kicking off our season in style. Both grades picked up crucial victories over St Pats with the 2s getting a small piece of redemption for last season's final. #DA

08.01.2022 This year with the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming cricket season, the club is getting on the front foot and trying to sure up our financial future for the next couple of seasons. The impact that COVID will have on our sponsors is going to be tough and we are unlikely to be able to hold social functions and major fundraising events in our traditional format. The costs associated with getting back to training and playing safely are also going to dramatically increase. We,... as a club, pride ourselves on being able to provide opportunities for all junior and senior cricketer’s whilst supplying the best facilities and equipment in the region. With Crow Lotto, we feel we can provide a low weekly cost to our supporters, that will provide them with weekly engagement to the club with our draws and the chance to win in over $20k worth of prizes. Please share this post with your family and friends and encourage them to get involved and support our great club! Remember, you can join as an individual or get a group together and form a syndicate. Its easy to register, just visit the link below and complete the online form. Sing out if you have any questions. https://eacc.tidyhq.com/public/pages/crows-lotto
