24.01.2022 We were lucky to have a wonderful incursion recently where the children learned about African instruments, music, and stories! The children from all three rooms were able to experience this fantastic cultural incursion and everyone had a wonderful time dancing and singing along!

16.01.2022 On Wednesday evening, EBCCC committee member Rachel Jeffreys presented at the Murrumbeena Community Bank Pitch Night. EBCCC was lucky enough to walk away with $1,025 which we are putting towards the new mural for the front fence of the centre. Thanks Murrumbeena Community Bank Branch and their sponsors for inviting us to take part in this amazing event!

15.01.2022 Over the last week, the children at EBCCC have been learning all about Diwali. Our Possum children had a special experience learning how to celebrate Diwali with one of our families. They showed us how to make Rangoli (floor art made from colourful sand), Henna (special patterned painting on hands with natural paint made from tree leaves), and Indian dance and music. We were also very lucky to have some Diva (Indian candle holder and candle set) colouring done, and tasted a traditional Indian sweet treat called Burfi". The children just loved this experience!

13.01.2022 We are so pleased to welcome all of the children and their families back to EBCCC this week! We look forward to getting to know our new families and seeing new friendships blossom as our children embrace each other (sometimes with hula hoops!) to explore and learn together

11.01.2022 Have you heard? Sports Buzz is back! The kids are loving being outside taking part in activities where they can practise taking turns, use their fine motor skills, and learn how to be a good sport!

03.01.2022 Our Gumnuts have been loving this autumn warm weather with lots of exploring and playing in our fantastic outdoor areas. With bikes to ride, cars to drive, and lots of stuff to climb there's always something fun to do outside!

02.01.2022 Our Possums had loads of fun recently making some very hungry caterpillars! Lots of practice with scissors, glue and leaves from the garden helped our budding artists create some cute and colourful wriggly creatures!
