20.01.2022 The East Burwood Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of club life member Peter Bowie this morning.The club would like to pass on its sympathies and condolences to his family and friends. One of those closest friends Graham Dale has written a tribute to Peter.

17.01.2022 The East Burwood Football Club would like to pass on its sympathies and condolences to the Bentley family on the recent passing of Irene Bentley. Irene was a great supporter and volunteer at the club over a 50 year period. Her husband Tom served as President at the club in 1973 and 1974.

17.01.2022 Thank You to Neville Young for sending this photo and the following information through to the club. I believe this photo is from around 1970. Front centre is Pat King the coach and a truly wonderful bloke. I was really sad to hear he had passed away. To his left is my younger brother Andrew Young (Victorian U17 Javelin Champion and 3 times Australian U19 Power Lifting Champion)... On the end of the front row far right is Peter Sacrastani (Vicrorian Wicketkeeper) seated new to him is Paul Melville (EB Best and Fairest winner and Victorian Batsman) Directly behind the boy dressed as an umpire in Graeme Kellart (played District Cricket). At the right on the end of the row is Graeme's father. In the back row on the left is Glen Reid, next to him with curly hair is Zack ?. There are plenty of other faces I recognise, but sadly I cannot remember all their names. There should be at lot of people that can still identify all the others. See more

12.01.2022 As we approach the Easter weekend and many people traveling, its a good time to remember the TAC Pause Stop Campaign. The TAC is currently operating several Pause Stop sites across Victoria, encouraging drivers to pull over, recharge and get to their destination safely. It’s more important than ever to understand the dangers of drowsy driving and fatigue, with large numbers of Victorians traveling regionally and interstate after many months at home, and unaccustomed to drivin...g long distances. TAC Pause Stops will be operating over the Easter weekend.

12.01.2022 Highlights of the seniors practice game last weekend against Bentleigh. This Saturday 27th is the final practice match against Forest Hill FC at East Burwood Reserve. Reserves at 10am followed by seniors.

Elizabeth passed away on November 25th after a short battle with a very aggressive cancer. 08.01.2022 Thanks to Lee Anne Bowie for sending this collection of photos to the club.They include the under 16 team from the mid 1960's, the reserves team who finished runners up in 1976 and some memorabilia from the EDFL presentation dinner at the "Swinging Dorset Gardens" in 1973.
