19.01.2022 *** Warning - explicit language used *** #FSU WHEN WAS FSU BORN?... Many people question me about FSU. What is it? we hear it, we see it everywhere, what does it mean? Who is it? Why, where, how? FSU is our creed, our badge that we wear externally/internally and with honour. It was born in 2014, when I started coaching here in FNNSW. Before Eastcoast Futsal evolved, the teams from our area were went away to compete unprepared, undisciplined and would be defeated 0-15, 0-20. We solely made up the competition team numbers. It wasn't until a very dedicated group (2 x teams U16 boys & U16 girls) put their trust in me and the coaching staff & turned up to play at the Nationals in 2014 in Ballarat. We were not the most individually talented teams, we had only been together for a month compared to other teams who had been together for a number of years. In one pre-game huddle we talked about belief, bond, heart, pain, family, laying it all on the line, having a go with nothing to loose and everything to gain and FSU was born at that moment. We went on with those two teams to win the U16 Girls division and were Runners-up in the U16 Boys division vs teams from all over Australia. FSU is a private thing that we have continued and has grown in strength, it is our motto. We have a FSU crew, who live the fsu values and have been dedicated with us from our humble beginnings, a futsal family, many who now wear it as a tattoo, or number plates of their cars etc. For those outside looking at us, we say it means 'Family Stands United', which is true, but we all know what it really means, when it is shouted loudly and proudly before each match. #fsu #danielricciardo Daniel Ricciardo

19.01.2022 On this day 3 x years ago, 14th Jan 2018, our Women's team were crowned National Champions. After being told by many high level people that they would never win a National Title, while playing their unique/different style, on this day we shook the Futsal Nationals. Undefeated. Set your GOALS, back yourself, your teammates & coaches, dream MASSIVE, work HARD and BELIEVE. ... #fsu #weareeastcoast #impossibleisnothing #grandslam See more

04.01.2022 NSL 2020 History - We joined the NSL in 2019 and we fought hard, bringing home medals in 2 x age divisions. This 2020 series we have brought home medals in EVERY SINGLE age division U10, U12, U14, Youth, Open Mens.... We should also give a special mention to our 2 x girls teams who battled hard in the U14 boys and Open Mens divisions. These two teams were inspiring to watch. 03.01.2022 Today’s champions and runners-up 2020 Eastcoast School Futsal Titles

03.01.2022 Futsal can be seen as a complex sport with it's own set of rules and specific skills required to play the game. However it becomes quite simple once its "intern...al logic" is understood, making the game an absolute brilliant tool to develop technically excellent players. In addition, we can classify as irrefutable its importance in the developmental stages of any youth player. Extracted from the US Futsal Attacking Principles. Futsal to Soccer Coaching.
