25.01.2022 David Hodgett was elected the Member for Kilsyth at the November 2006 election, and was re-elected in 2010. Following a redistribution of electoral boundaries David was elected as the Member for the newly named electorate of Croydon in 2014 and became the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party. As the former Mayor of the Shire of Yarra Ranges, David has an in-depth understanding of the needs of Kilsyth. Having been a councilor in Yarra Ranges Shire for 8 years and through his ro...les on bodies including the Yarra Ranges Enterprise Centres, and the Shire of Yarra Ranges Community Safety Committee, David has a proven track record of delivering for his local community. David's knowledge and experience in a wide range of matters has enabled him to develop into a valuable member of his community, whose counsel is sought and respected. East Croydon Kilsyth Tennis Club greatly appreciates the financial support that David has been able to support our club with in 2021.
