23.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we inform you all that Trevor Bolton has passed away on Sunday evening. Trevor has supported E.D.U since 1995 with three of his children playing for the club over the years. He even participated in one season as a player. Over the years Trevor has been involved in many leadership roles within the club and supported many of its fundraising efforts. In more recent times he was often down at games watching both Men’s and Women’s teams playing and wi...tnessed many of E.D.U's successes. We will miss this great man. The family has requested that instead of flowers they would love for you to donate to Cystic Fibrosis. www.cysticfibrosis.org.au/donate
23.01.2022 Have you spotted some of the new laws in action either during the Womens World Cup or in any of the EPL games so far? What are your thoughts?
21.01.2022 What a great way to start to the 2020 season! Our guys defeated Newtown Devils 3-1. Newtown played extremely well for a team with no subs and at points were down to 9, but EDU continued their 2019 championship winning form to take out the first round points.
20.01.2022 After we found that LC1 was double booked for a 9am game, we returned for our rescheduled 11am kick off. (Pity the teams affected by this time change didnt know). There was some good hussle, great defence and attack from both sides but EDU were too strong in the end coming away with a 4-1 win.

16.01.2022 Hope all the dads had a great day on Sunday. Results from the weekend are as follows. Our girls ended up even with SASS, 0-0. The guys finished their game early after an unfortunate event in the opposition goal box which led to an ambulance attending the field, 2-0.
14.01.2022 Welcome to the 2020 season! EDU will be having a team meeting at the Pastoral Hotel at 2pm Saturday 1st Feb (Today). All players, families and friends welcome. We also welcome any new players. Be sure to bring your thoughts and ideas to help make 2020 the best season yet. See you all there.
14.01.2022 Will soccer be on tomorrow? If so, the girls are up against MUFC at 9am and the guys play against the Bulls at 3pm. Regardless of the weather, we hope you all have a great weekend. Stay safe. #eastdubbounitedfc
14.01.2022 If this weather holds out the girls will be up against Newtown. The guys are heading over to Gulgong for the grand final rematch against North West Falcons. #eastdubbounitedfc

13.01.2022 For those who are keen to participate this year.
13.01.2022 Winter Wrap Up and Presentation. As we celebrate the end of a very long and very interesting 2020 season, EDU also pay tribute to a great ambassador, club and committee member, coach, supporter, spectator, father, friend and all round great man Trevor Bolton who has seen many of EDU's successes throughout the years. Congratulations to the recipients of today's awards.... In the women's squad. Pip Sokol received Most Improved. There were a few new players this year including some who had never played winter soccer before. Pip was one of those players who turned up to training and games learning from those around her and ultimately becoming a better player every time she put her boots on. Alison Howard received Best And Fairest. Alison joined the team later and has made a great impact to the club already. Both awards were particularly tough to decide as there were many other worthy recipients and the entire team can be proud of their achievements. The men's team presented their 3, 2, 1 votes which led to a rare tie. Ross Wright received the first of the Best And Fairest awards for his very noble and selfless offering to fill the goalkeeper position when both the first and second preferences were unable to play this year. Jordan Gannon was the second recipient of Best And Fairest for his ability to score goals from just about anywhere on the field including his cracker in Gulgong. Again, there were many other worthy recipients of these awards and everyone can be very pleased with their efforts. A big thank you to our sponsors DMC Meat & Seafood Pty Ltd and The Pastoral Hotel. Hopefully we can continue to support each other for years to come. We all look forward to seeing what the 2021 season will bring. As we end the Winter season, the Summer Soccer comp is about to begin. Good luck to everyone who will be involved.
12.01.2022 Dont count all the eggs just yet, but its looking like it should be some better weather this weekend. Round 5 sees the girls up against South Dubbo Wanderers and the guys take on MUFC. Have a great weekend everyone! #eastdubbounitedfc

10.01.2022 Unfortunately both teams were beaten this weekend. The girls went down 2-1 and the guys went down 4-0. Both teams played great games and they can both take a lot of positives into the next round.
09.01.2022 Pending any late decisions as to "weather" soccer will be on tomorrow, our guys wake up nice and early to play against Newtown Demons at 9am while our girls get another sleep in. I think their played game count stands at 3 out of 8 weeks due to byes and weather.
07.01.2022 Season 2020 is set to kick off on the 5th July. Thats only one week away! Wishing both teams all the best for the season. #eastdubbounitedfc

02.01.2022 6 goals for EDU today! The girls were 1-0 down and crept back to take the lead in the dying minutes to defeat the Wanderers 2-1. The guys only had 1 sub but managed to group together well and definitively beat MUFC 4-2. Congrats to both sides. #eastdubbounitedfc
02.01.2022 The girls kick off their season this week as they meet RSL. The guys are headed to Wellington to see if they can continue their winning streak. Good luck to both teams. #eastdubbounitedfc
01.01.2022 The girls were narrowly beaten by MUFC 2-1. The guys only managed to share the points with the Bulls 1-1. #eastdubbounitedfc
01.01.2022 For only their 4th game of the season, our girls had an amazing battle with RSL who are always a force to be reckoned with and only went down marginally 3-2. Great effort ladies! The guys were down 1-0 for a solid 40 minutes. Then with a turn of events scored 2 goals in about 4 minutes to get them back on top. Final score 2-1.
