19.01.2022 RON EAGER CUP WEATHER UPDATE Unfortunately we’ve had to postpone the start of the carnival. Very welcome rain, but the forecast is still for very heavy rain overnight and into Monday morning. Fields are very wet and will not dry in time for Monday start.... We will monitor conditions closely tomorrow and update with revised draw as necessary.
19.01.2022 All games at KP cancelled tomorrow, Saturday 27th March - fields too wet and closed.
15.01.2022 RON EAGER CUP UPDATE Unfortunately all our available fields are still unplayable. As you can see, Kianawah Park ready for a water polo carnival. So Tuesday fixtures are CANCELLED. Will keep everyone informed. Hoping for better news tomorrow.

02.01.2022 RON EAGER CUP UPDATE The carnival will start tomorrow. 2 x T20 format games. Thanks to all those volunteers, especially our carnival co-ordinations from Bulimba CC for all their efforts in getting us started.... Pool A will be playing at Kianawah Park, Tingalpa where Fields 9 and 12 have been made available. Pool B will play at Holland Park CC, Whites Hill using Fields 1 and 2. Pool C will play at Bulimba CC, Colmslie. A revised draw will be issued to clubs shortly along with some updated logistics information. Games will still kick off by 9.00am each morning so players are to arrive by 8.30am.
01.01.2022 Very concerned at this proposal from Brisbane City Council. Public spaces and fields need to remain multi sport, and Bottomley Park has been a home to cricket for well over 50 years. Please sign this petition, email your local councillors and let your views be known. https://www.epetitions.brisbane.qld.gov.au/petit//pid/903
