25.01.2022 Eastern Gardens parkrun #79 This week 86 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 46 were first timers and 9 recorded new Personal Bests. We welcomed friends from all over the country including Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne, Orange, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Warrnambool, Mildura, Marriott Waters and Perth!!... And we also have a new female course record holder, well done Beth McKenzie who was our first finisher with a fantastic time of 18:22. International Womens Day was celebrated in style at Eastern Gardens with an all female volunteer line up; plus two young males happy to show their feminine side. A super big thanks to Carmen Drake for organising our all star volunteer roster. Very much appreciated. This morning 91 runners, joggers and walkers enjoyed our gorgeous course, 9 of whom recorded personal bests and an amazing 29 were first timers.
