20.01.2022 That’s a wrap for this week (almost!) The amazing team at Eastern have pulled off an incredible task of moving over 7500kg of freight to Lord Howe Island this week. Due to flooding the Ship has been unable to deliver their usual fortnightly cargo. We were asked to step up and lend a hand until they are back on deck.... Woolworths online assisted and organised to get the locals their regular fortnightly orders, Jim Pearson’s transport were fantastic in delivering the goods to us! So along with our regular weekly run to the Island our team moved 10 pallets of food and necessities to the locals on LHI! Our guys on the ground worked like troopers and the pilots have done back to back flights to make this all happen! Thanks everyone who chipped in, especially after such a horrific week of devastation to our community. Christian Corse, Shane Moore, Virginia Sheaves (Mark) Justin Mackay, Cam Cameron Harper, Angela Cloeraine... and Rick!!! Also thanks to Chopper and our team on LHI, and Peter Fowler!

At 15 years old, Lachlan can't even drive a car yet, but today he went 1st solo in the Tec...nam with just 12.4 hours of dual training. Lachlan is a student at a local high school, and we are sure his school community will be proud. Both instructors (Anthony & Pete) have enjoyed teaching Lachlan and we certainly look forward to helping you achieve your ultimate goal of becoming a professional pilot. The EAS team are proud of your achievement today!

05.01.2022 Save the date! EAS Flight Training is planning a fly-away on the 15th and 16th of May, 2021 to Palmer's Island (Maclean). The airstrip is a bit over an hour nor...th of Port Macquarie, so you can stay for the day or stay overnight, the choice is yours. For those planning to stay, accommodation suggestions are Moby Dick or Blue Dolphin. EAS Flight Training is looking to fill as many aircraft as possible with students, or pilots wishing to hire aircraft. For students, it will be a great opportunity to experience cross-country and controlled airspace over the top of Coffs Harbour (with an instructor). Please share this with anyone else in the aviation community who is interested, or if you are interested please call or email to secure a spot in one of our 5 aircraft.
