24.01.2022 Happy christmas to all EASTERNATS supporters and lovers of the automobile. Thanks to Paul Cotter who has done a superb job in distrubuting the entry forms, the following places now have the regulations, entry/ indemnity forms and price lists available. The stores are Speed Pro Dandenong, Rare Spares Bayswater, Repco and Autobarn Ferntree Gully, Super Cheap Auto's Cranbourne, DPW Epping and Promaz Thomastown. Our office is contactable during the summer break just ring 0418 386640 and if I am not there leave your contact details. Also don't forget the $200.00 entry fee expires at the end of Dec. Look forward to seeing you for Victoria's biggest and best "Automotive expression session ". all backed up with 12.5 hours of on track cruising. Regards Jon Davison

22.01.2022 Just to ensure that everyone understands the EASTERNATS is not over subscribed and entries are open right up to the Monday of the event which the 9th April. I keep the entries open until the last day because some entrants only want to compete in the drags which is held on Monday. Also I am posting $35000.00 in prizemoney and trophies. 22.01.2022 I have been informed the EASTERNATS is no longer accepting as the event is oversubcribed and we are no longer accepting entries. This is totally false and has no substance at all. The only thing that is nearly fully booked are the pot lane garages, all other garages are still available.entries close on Monday 9th April or before should the event be over subscribed. Everything is positive and I will be meeting with the management of Winton and the police to ensure the event is well organized. Regards Jon Davison

21.01.2022 Heard the Powercruise at Eastern Creek in Sydney are charging $1000 for a garage in pit lane. Sorry but that's way over the top when you compare the pit lane garages at the EASTERNATS are $300 for all three days and include three cars per garage. The prices at the EASTERNATS have not gone up in three years. See you there regards Jon Davo

20.01.2022 Tell everyone the new EASTERNATS website is up and running. Check it out all the info is there. HD really positive meeting at Winton today. Drags are going to be over 1/8th mile which most prefer. Commentary will be on Winton 87.6 FM. Meeting with police to be convened to ensure unregistered vehicles can drive around pit area and over to camping area. The event will be the best "automotive expression session" Be there or we will start without you. Regards Jon Davo

10.01.2022 Fantastic reaction to the November discount over 70 entries. Never had that number four months out before. Thanks for your support to all those that have entered so far. Everyone is raving about the 12.5 hours of cruising plus all the other pedal to the metal events. Regards Jon Davo

08.01.2022 Read Pages16 and 17 of Saturday 25th Feb Age newspaper about the road trauma among the young. The article highlights what I have been saying for years, Their is a massive and growing car culture in Melbourne and paricilarly in the eastern suburbs with the community police and the media continually reporting about the number of accidents and the emotional and finiancial costs of road trauma. Ok then give the young an "automotive expression session" with somewhere to go and "l...et of stream", which is what the EASTERNATS provided. The Dandenong Council who originally asked me to create an event that would encourage the "rev head" as they called it to do it at a race track and the Melbourne Racing Club should hang their head in shame for canceling the EASTERNATS . This horepower fest catered for fan of the automobile somewhere to go and put pedal to the metal and have some fun. It's not only what soany young car owners want needs but wants. 06.01.2022 A Current Affair have invited me to be part of a panel this Wednesday night to discuss the road toll and the " Hoon legislation". I am going to push heavily for events like the EASTERNATS to be supported and not the subject of police intimidation . Tell or your friends to watch it, this is our best chance to promote our right to enjoy and let of steam in our car at a recognized race track. Long live the EASTERNATS and the important community benefit it provides. Regards Davo

03.01.2022 The Facebook site has over 1000 members and we only started in early March. Thank you to everyone who has "liked" us. Please let everyone know they can enter and book your camping right up until the last day of the event. You do not have to pre enter. Also the weather forecast looks fantastic temperatures around 20 to 25 degrees everyday. Its going to be huge. Regards Davo
