21.01.2022 Ulong community hall. Cinema at Eastern Dorrigo Community Hall ( ULONG) ... For over 50 years, country music legend Slim Dusty and his wife, Joy McKean trail-blazed their way across Australia, creating a musical legacy that to this day continues to entertain and inspire. Theirs is perhaps one of the greatest partnerships in Australian music history. Slim & I is a feature documentary that tells the incredible story of that partnership and of the brilliant woman who lived beside, rather than behind, the legend Australia’s own Queen of Country Music, Joy McKean. This event has been supported by the Bushfire Operation Relief funds. Cost: $15 includes film & snack pack. Time: 6.30pm Licensed bar available, please note this is a cashless event, eftpos will be available. RSVP: www.jettytheatre.com. Ph: 66 484 930. Maximum group booking of 6. Saturday 31st October. 21.01.2022 2020 from the Eastern Dorrigo Community Hall and Showground. As the year comes to an end, the Ulong Hall committee would like the wish our community a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. We started the year off strong dancing our way into the new year with a free groovy children’s disco. The pandemic put our larger events like TENORI, Slim & I, Festival of small Halls and Snow White etc on halt. However, we were still able to deliver, once restrictions eased things like our free health clinic, Have a yarn day, free first aid, Hapkido, and a free weekend mosaic work shop. We hope we can deliver and get back to our normal, happy and successful events for 2021. See you all in the New Year, stay safe Ulong Hall Committee.

05.01.2022 Slim & I has been postponed throughout all venues due to technical issues. Anyone who has purchased a ticket would’ve been notified by the JMT. Stayed tuned for new date and upcoming events on the mountain.

05.01.2022 Happening now.... Come on down to the Ulong Community Hall and support what’s happening, have a yarn to the different health services available and get a free health check while you’re there. Happening until 2pm.

04.01.2022 You’ve asked for it- and you’ve been heard! We’re bringing more health services to the mountain on TUESDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 10am-2pm, in conjunction with the free health clinic. Meet representatives from Galambila Aboriginal Health Services, Standby and NSW mid north coast health as well as our head nurse Lisa and her fabulous team of nurses. A FREE BBQ is provided on the day. Come and have a yarn and discuss any health concerns. Ulong Community Hall 10am Tuesday 3rd November. Always remember our clinical space within the hall is available for any personal or private conversations with any of these professionals.

04.01.2022 Tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd November at the Ulong Community Hall from 10am not only will head nurse Lisa and her team of nurses be there ready to talk about your health, but so will many other health professionals. Put your health first - discuss your needs or concerns and the needs of the community. This is your chance to speak up about our communities health needs and what services you would like to see happen. Free bbq will be available.
