20.01.2022 Good evening, a big thanks for the support so far to both the parents and players of the U12 teams. This Friday is our second trial game prior to the season starting the following Friday. The teams are: Blue - Playing at Avenal primary school Harry S, Harman, Max F, Ben B, Uday C, Sahib S, Oscar H, Angus M, Sam Q, William M... Yellow - Back oval Kings park Mycah B, Reid I, Levi B, Harry D, Billy D, Harvey S, Harley M, Benji M, Aysa C Please be at your ground by 4:40. 13.01.2022 Congratulations to our Under 14 and Under 16 teams on winning your Grand Finals. You are now Premiership players, which is an amazing effort. You should all be very proud of yourselves. There was amazing support for both our junior Eagles teams on the weekend so thank you to all of our supporters who turned up. We now turn our attention to our Senior B Grade team who are playing Avenel in the final decider of the season. We are calling on all Eagles to takes some time out of your day this Saturday and attend the Avenel Recreation Reserve to cheer home our boys with the flag. The game starts at 12:30 and we hope to see you all there.

04.01.2022 A problem we have has this year is a lack of people with Responsible Serving of Alchohol Certificates (RSA) being able to work behind the bar. We currently have minimal people who can do it especially on a Saturday afternoon as most of our RSA people are actually playing. On Monday night (1 March) between 6:30 and 9:30, Valley Sport is holding an online RSA course at a cost of $50. What we need are some more people to put up their hand and offer to do bar duties next season. ...A few more people will allow us to actually make up a bar roster and ease the burden on the current few who work the bar. The first 3 people willing to put up their hand for this will have the Club refund them the cost of the $50 course in full. Maybe its not for you, but perhaps someone else in your family. Provided they are willing to help out next season with bar duties, we will refund that person the full $50 for the course. An RSA certificate is pretty handy certificate to have. First 3 get it. We would also like to be able to open the Canteen on Sunday mornings next season when Under 16's play, so it would be good to hear from people also able to help out with that.
