They do incredibly important wo...rk, literally creating a system that catches, folk of the music industry when they have no other place to go. For example if you are a sound technician or a roadie or muso, and you get sick and (as this industry works you don’t have sick pay or support for treatment), support act provide financial support. They have been supporting musicians all through covid (you can still apply for their grants to help with rent, or bills if you’re stuck). They also have a huge amount of mental health resources, from people you can call just for a chat or talk to a professional or check out their online helplines. What can you do?? 16.01.2022 Lockhart Shire Council invites community members of Lockhart Shire, in particular the community of Yerong Creek to provide feedback on the proposed Yerong Creek... Water Tower Mural. Artists were invited to submit a full concept from the inspiration which was created between the Yerong Creek Progress Association and Lockhart Shire Council. Two artists responded which we are now seeking feedback from the community. Both concepts will be on display at the Delta Ag store at Yerong Creek from Friday 13th November to 17th November 2020 inclusive. A staff member from Council and a representative from Yerong Creek Progress Association will be available on site at the following times. Friday 13th November - 9.30am 11.30am Monday 16th November - 2pm 5pm Tuesday 17th November- 8.30am 10.30am **please note that times may vary for the representative attendance ** All other times on those days, the stand will be unattended, with information and survey forms will be available. Once completed all feedback will be collated and a selection panel will come together to provide advice to Lockhart Shire Council on the preferred option.
