07.01.2022 Last night we presented Alistair with the highest award in Rovers; the Baden Powell Scout Award badge. A highlight of Alistair's badge work was when he worked with the migrant resource centre, assisting in running IT classes focusing on basic Job ready IT skills for migrants. This included setting up an email account, using google, and evolved into an online food safety course. For personal growth, Alistair explored photography. Photography had always been a hobby of Alistai...r's. He pushed himself, further developing his skills to the level where he now operates a succesful photography business. Alistair also joined Howrah Scouts as a scout leader. Now one of two leaders, he assists in the growth of the next generation of scouting. Congratulations on a tremendous effort Alistair!

03.01.2022 Eastern Shore Rover Crew would like to pay tribute to a former Clarence District Venturer and Eastern Shore Rover; Hamish McHenry, who sadly passed away on the 19th of this month. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family during this time. The strong friendships Hamish formed with many of our current members from his time in Venturers will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Hamish.
