18.01.2022 Wellington st and Bondi rd intersection serious accident 18 Jan 2017 Alex Tees from Bondi, NSW posted in Traffic & Transport Once again inaction by Local Traffic committee , State Govt Roads and Maritime Services and Local MP Gabrielle Upton MP leads to this ...serious injury !traffic lights needed - last time a car went through a shop front in Bondi Rd! Miracle no pedestrians there! THIS IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN .. NEARBY IS BONDI PUBLIC SCHOOL ....ALSO THE BUS STOP I...S OPPOSITE THIS DANGEROUS INTERSECTION .....bear in mind last time a car went through a shop front after losing it on the corner when turning right at speed into Bondi Rd from Wellington st ....could bus stop waiting people and or school kids and parents be the NEXT VICTIMS ..??!!! communication (sent many times over 12 months to )Recent copy to local Liberal State MP Gabrielle Upton ....." Is it the intention of the Local Traffic Committee , the Council and RMS TO DO NOTHING ? - the volume of traffic is growing not decreasing thereby increasing not decreasing the risk to all involved - local residents nearby school etc - kids walking to school........... You are reminded that not so long ago a vehicle mounted the kerb and narrowly missed pedestrians on Bondi rd while turning right............and entered the then newsagents shop premises ................
