23.01.2022 Finally some hope that we can get back on the track. As most are aware, skate parks are open which govern if BMX tracks can open. These tracks are maintained by volunteers. Problem now lies that we have to get our track back up to speed. Grass is waist high and track is looking much unloved. We are all keen to see BMX return so we will need to pull up our sleeves and lend a hand when needed. No club actives will commence until further notice. Please ensure that the current restriction rules are met, and preference will be given to volunteers on track/site. Track will be closed at short notice for these works.

18.01.2022 Sundays just arent the same without BMX!!! We miss arriving at the track on those cold frosty mornings and hearing the laughter and the chatter of everyone sitting in the tents. The calm before the storm as everyone patiently lines up for there morning coffee while the riders get in there last practice laps. Then when we hear those bells and the whole atmosphere changes, the anxiety kicks in and the butterflies starts. The mad rush to get your gear on, get your bike up to s...taging! When that first gate drops and we hear the cheers and the screams from the crowd as the riders bump, push and fight there way to the finish line. Then when all the racing is done and everyone has collected there trophies, brushed themselves off after there crashes and the adrenalin wears off we we pack up the tents, congratulate each other and once again we hear the chatter and the laughter of all our friends. 04.01.2022 Please be advised that after consultation with our local council, our track is currently CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC due to the current Covid-19 Stage 3 restrictions limiting outdoor gatherings to 10 or less, which the club is unable to control. Club members should be advised that training/club practice may re-commence soon, with appropriate social distancing rules in place, however we are still awaiting confirmation. We will update you as soon as we hear, hopefully in the next few days.
