23.01.2022 When was the last time you had a dietary review? A dietitian can work with you and your doctor to help manage a wide range of conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal diseases and food intolerances. We are lucky enough to have an Accredited Practicing Dietitian volunteering at the clinic. If you are interested in booking in for a consultation, please speak to Dr. Yam for a referral!

Dr. Liang completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (with Honours) at Monash University prior to completing her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Karen has a special interest in womens’ health, obstetrics and children’s health and has obtained additional qualifications in these areas.... 14.01.2022 Say hello to Dr Vicki Chan! Vicki joined our team for a short period last year before going on maternity leave to welcome her second baby. Dr Chan started her journey as a doctor at Eastern Health then completed her GP training through the Eastern Victoria GP rural training program. ... She spent a number of years in East Gippsland as a general practitioner before relocating back to Melbourne. Dr Chan has a particular interest in the areas of women's health and paediatrics. We are so pleased to have Vicki back consulting at Eastfield Medical Centre! She is available for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 06.01.2022 Meet Dr. Thomas Yam! Tom obtained his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery qualifications through the University of Melbourne. He started his career as a doctor with Eastern Health, gaining experience in areas such as general medicine, geriatric medicine and palliative care. He then completed GP training through the Eastern Victoria GP rural training program and has spent the last three years as a GP in the Gippsland region including Maffra, Traralgon and Warragul. He has... an interest in paediatrics and has completed a Diploma of Child Health. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, friends, their pet dog Cotton and keeping fit at the gym. Tom is able to assist with services such as chronic disease management, preventative medicine, mental health, vaccinations and procedures such as skin cancer excisions. He is available for appointments Monday to Saturday.
