Justine and Dave first joined as co-coaches in 2019 and have been instrumental in the development of our netball teams over their time at the club. 05.01.2022 It's with great sadness that I wish to advise our loyal players, members and supporters that our Senior Football Coach, Jeremy Power, has decided to step down for season 2021 after 2 years at the helm. Jezza took over the reins in 2018 and after a disappointing first year where the senior team dropped to 11th with only 51/2 wins, he oversaw a remarkable turnaround in performance in 2019 to see the boys return to finals football for the first time since 2015. After having a bi...t more time to think about things while the 2020 season was suspended, Jezza has decided he would like to spend a bit more time with his family and focus on his work at Deakin University. His professionalism, insight, football wisdom and game day strategy will be missed. He has assured me that he is now an East boy through and through so we still expect to see him at the Club in 2021 cheering on the Eagles and watching his great foundation work continue. We will now start the process of securing a new Senior Football Coach for season 2021 and I will keep you updated as our search progresses. Sean O'Leary President

02.01.2022 **NEW COACH ALERT** We're stoked to be welcoming Ben Boseley as the Senior coach for the 2021 season. Ben started his footballing career at East playing up to U15s before flying the nest to play at South Barwon. Ben played there from 2006-09 picking up 2 senior premierships ('06, '07) as a player, an U18s premiership as a coach and playing 2 games for Geelong VFL. Geelong Amateurs was the next move for Ben, playing there from 2010-2012, playing BFL interleague, getting picked... in the VCFL VIC2 State squad and coaching the U14s during his time there. Ben then took his coaching to the senior level for the first time when moving to Birregurra in 2014. After winning back to back premierships in 2016 and 2017 Ben left Birregurra and now his journey brings him back to where it all began, East Geelong! Welcome Ben, and we're all excited for the upcoming season! See more
