25.01.2022 Often the best moments on a week long Biathlon camp for our Future Stars, cannot be scripted. It is seeing a group of kids run to the finish line with their youngest member supporting her all the way, it is seeing the joy on the face of a young man when he hits that target for the first time, it is the welcoming and embracing of new families and lifelong friends, it is the learning and support from the older athletes to the new, it’s the courage shown from our young people wh...en they are doing something new, unknown and difficult, it is learning new languages from new friends, it is the resilience to ski in tough conditions and still find a smile, it is a child who having experienced bullying in her life says through tears on the last day I never thought I could have this much fun with other kids again, it is the willingness of parents who could otherwise be relaxing on their holidays to cook, clean, taxi, cheer, run, laugh, cry, support and generally come together to work their butts off to take on all roles necessary to create a successful camp.
