24.01.2022 Very smooth and reliable gear!!!

24.01.2022 With the current fire situation in Far East Gippsland we can’t get to any of our Gun spots that we have taken lure fishing charters in for the last 10 years smashing big Bream,Estuary perch and mega duskies!! I would like to make a special mention about Bemm river and to all the businesses in that region that are doing it really hard at the moment with zero trade happening right now!! Stay safe and strong and don’t worry once this is over myself and thousands of others will f...lock back to that beautiful place we all love to stay and fish!! And the same goes for marlo and Tamboon!!! We are lucky that East Gippsland charters is only one part of Bass strait bait and tackle and Bass strait bait which can survive through this crisis!!! And lastly but most importantly to our friends at Mallacoota , words can’t describe what you have been through in the last 2 weeks!! Our thoughts are with you all in your time of need And rest assured we are with you in spirit as so many of us have a strong emotional connection to this jewel in the crown of East Gippsland!! 20.01.2022 Hi all just touching base!! We are preparing to reopen in the coming weeks !! For now I’m spending all my spare time finishing the set up at our new tackle shop Bass strait bait and tackle at 24 Barkes ave Lakes Entrance !!... Our charter boat is also up for its 10 year survey so we still have to be patient and also make sure that the worst of covid is behind us then we can reopen for good without any further disruption!! We would also like to thank all our valued customers for there understanding and we can reassure everyone that we will be back bigger and better than ever as Far East Gippsland is calling!!! Appoligies for any inconvenience as it’s a very hard decision to have to make !!
