25.01.2022 This year is getting away from us. I thought I’d list some of the events that are coming up so we can all pencil them in. Semex on farm challenge - 12th-14th October, presentation dinner will be held on the 17th October. Maffra show - 26th October Sale Feature show - 2nd November ... We hope to see many faces at these events.

21.01.2022 Today was our feature show. We had Michelle Del Busso from Philipsons one of our major sponsors come along and hand put the prizes and ribbons. We had Jason Delite from WFI doing our book work. A great day was had by all. Thank you to Nicola Templeton for judging these amazing cattle. Unfortunately I did get copies of our results but I can tell you that most successful exhibitor went to Glomar Holsteins. Here are some photos of the cattle we got to see today

20.01.2022 As a result from our fundraiser raffle last week we presented Oakley Henry with $375 for his trip to the UK. Thanks so much to everyone who bought tickets to support this young man. Also thank you Declan Patten for attending the meeting and presenting Oakley Henry with the money. Enjoy your trip Oakley. We as a sub branch are super excited and proud you have this great opportunity

20.01.2022 Saturday is our Feature show at the sale show. If you haven’t entered any cattle there’s still time. Come along and have a look. There’s so many great prizes up for grabs at the feature this year. I’ll be live from the show setting up tomorrow. Stay tuned thanks to everyone for their sponsorship and their help. Don’t forget there is free entry for all farming families at the show this year, just bring your NLIS tag or PIC number and show them at the gate. Cheers Krystal x

10.01.2022 Today is day 1 of judging. Mitch has been to 5 farms today. I met him at Brendan Bermingham’s where this beauty was judged. Owned by Sarah Tilburg this is Afterburn Elli who was entered in the 5 year old class. With many great cows judged today this years Semex on farm challenge is proving to be a great one.

05.01.2022 I'm sure a lot of you are aware that Oakley Henry is heading over to the UK in September. We have come up with a plan to try and raise some money for Oakley by holding a raffle. The raffle will be held this Saturday the 24th at the Farmers Arms Hotel Newry. We will be there about 6 pm. Would be great to see many faces there to help and support Oakley.... There is 4 prizes, 1st trailer of wood 2nd 25 doses of SHGGENERAL 3rd nutrimetics pack & $50 cash prize 4th Dinner for 2 at the Farmers Arms Hotel Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5. If you wish to purchase tickets and cant make it to the pub this Saturday, let me know and ill arrange some tickets for you.
