25.01.2022 Lucas’s surgery went well!!! No complications!!! He’s being moved to ICU where be will he sedated for a couple of days. Ange feeling much better. Thank you for your prayers! These are critical days ahead, please pray against rejection and infection and for a quick recovery for Lucas. Pray for Ange and the kids, for peace. Also for the generous grieving family who have given Lucas this incredible gift.

24.01.2022 Please pray for Lucas’ kidney function. It’s low and needing prayer. Other than that he’s doing well. Sedated in ICU. Thank you for praying for Ange, she had a breakthrough around 10:30 last night. Praise God.

18.01.2022 Friends! We need your help! We are aiming to FILL our auditorium with beautiful trees of all shapes and sizes for the 20th to the 22nd of December for our Avenue of Trees event. Gather some creative friends or family members to enter a tree. This Saturday the Salvo Store in Belmont North are having a Christmas Tree sale, you could grab a bargain and enter a tree into the event. There's a prize for the BEST voted tree. Details in the comments below. (We do have a couple of spare trees if you’d like to enter a tree but don’t have a spare one!)

This year we aren't able to have all of the community carols services that we usually have so we thought we needed to do something joyful and lovely! We would LOVE you to enter a tree to our Avenue of Trees Christmas event. Here's how: Get creative and design a tree. To register your tree email [email protected] by December 14th.... Email an A4 design of your company logo and a short blurb about your group or business for us to print out and sit below your tree. Bring your tree, decorations, lights and extension lead to 360 Pacific Hwy on either Sat 19th December from 10-2pm or Sunday 20th December from 12-3pm. Come along with your friends and family on either the 20th, 21st, or 22nd to wander through. Vote for your favourite tree. The winning tree gets a beautiful Christmas Hamper from the Salvos. Entry to the evening is a donation to the Salvos Christmas Appeal.

16.01.2022 Baby Imogen Rea has been in hospital for the last week with an infection around one of her surgery sites. She has been on antibiotics and has slowly been gettin...g better, and the pain has been subsiding each day. She is in good spirits, and has been sleeping well. Her nurses and doctors have been doing a great job. We are waiting for her neutrophil count to come up so that she can get over the infection. Please continue to pray that the CSF flow issues are resolved and do not require further treatment. Please pray for Imogen: 1. That the chemotherapy successfully gets rid of all cancer in her. 2. That Imogen is totally cured of cancer. 3. That she does not have any bad long-term side effects of the treatment, and the cancer does not grow back or spread. 4. That God gives her full healing and a long, healthy and cancer-free life, and helps her strengthen and grow. 5. That her doctors and nurses know what to do, give her the right treatment, and that God strengthens Christie and Brad. 6. That Imogen’s family stays healthy and does not get sick and that none of us get Covid-19. 7. That the PRISM study quickly produces accurate targeted treatment to overcome the cancer. Please pray for baby Imogen’s full healing from brain cancer, congenital Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4. Also we will be raising money for an Mbuyu Malnutrition clinic for children tonight so bring some extra cash with you. Leah will also have a bunch of lovely gifts you can buy from Uganda.

As well as doing our Digital Fundraising like last year, we are back to collecting at all our previous static positions. So where will we be? Swansea - Coles, Woolworths and McDonalds Belmont Citi Centre... Belmont Central Belmont McDoanlds Lake Macquarie Fair Mt Hutton 16ft Sailing Club Roadside collections will be at Pelican Airport and Eleebana Carpark As well as 3 weekends at Bunnings, Bennetts Green, how exciting is that! So, we are looking for lots of people to help us with collecting, the rosters will be at church to view and put your name down, after the service starting 11th April. 06.01.2022 To our beautiful Eastlakes family! What a year! And what an amazing, kind and loving God we serve. We Thank Him for sustaining us through a year of so much change and uncertainty. It is good to know that he NEVER changes and that we can be certain in HIM and we have this HOPE as an anchor! We believe that He has planted vision in our hearts for this new year of 2021! And it will take all of us. Everyone on mission. Everyone discipling. Everyone using their gifts to serve Him... and to see the Kingdom grow! 04.01.2022 Friends it’s time to pray. Lucas got his call this morning for his heart transplant. He was listed just one week ago. Pray he is safe, pray it’s the right heart, pray for the medical team, pray for miracles! Please pray for Ange. She’s very unwell right now.

Still some issues with kidneys but they’re improving. Please pray for his pain levels. ... Praising God. He’s doing a good work!
