25.01.2022 Our team serving up free breakfast on Australia Day on behalf of Maitland Council at Chisholm. Thanks to Neal Eastley's Butchery for once again supplying the fantastic sausages.
25.01.2022 Our first project after restrictions, Bucket Collection. We were lucky to get this one in before restrictions were put in place again. Thank you to our community for continuing to support our fundraising efforts. Thank you to our wonderful members for putting themselves out there to raise much needed funds for our community.

22.01.2022 Tenterfield Lions Club received generous donations from Lions Australia and other Lions Clubs from around Australia including Terranora Lakes NSW, Woonona NSW, ...Killarney QLD, Dongara Denison WA, Lismore NSW, East Maitland NSW, Sorell TAS, TNR Accountants Byron Bay, SoZen Bek Tom Byron Bay. Our club purchased 34 tonne of Cattle nuts and custom mix from Killarney Produce with Wickham Freight Lines delivering the load on Saturday 21st Dec. From 7:30am Sunday morning 65 farmers lined up to receive a load of feed. The group from the Coast were still on hand to help with the loading plus hand out the water and dog food that they donated. 105 farmers in total benefited from these generous donations. Thank you to Jenny Shearman, Lynton Rhodes, Keith Willcocks, Annette Willcocks, Jane Ions, Kim Rhodes, Bruce Jackson, Jarod Smith, Steve Whiticker, Ken Poulsen, Coastie Team, Wayne and Rose Lusty, Maureen Graham, Greg Graham, Frances Williams, Mandy Craig (Landcare), John Brown (Loan of the tractor Saturday) Peter Hay (FoodWorks - delivering the water and dog food) and Lisa Dalton for your tireless efforts throughout the day. We hope that Saturday and Sunday has brought a bit of hope and less stress this Christmas to the farming community of Tenterfield. See more

If you have unwanted bottles and cans and would like to donate them to our club, please contact use on this page and we can organise pick up if local to the Hunter Area.
19.01.2022 Lions helping Lions support their local communities. Our Lions members will be at Stockland Green Hills with their buckets, collecting for the Bushfire appeal, all money raised (no admin fees deducted) will be used to support local Lions Clubs in fire affected areas to use NOW to help with emergency needs. No waiting periods. If you see us in the centre, come and say Gday and put whatever you can afford in our buckets.

13.01.2022 What did we learn from Covid19 gathering restrictions. We learnt that we can still interact effectively as a group via social media meetings. Now restrictions have lifted, this still only allows 20 people in our meeting room. We can now have our members that cannot attend the face to face meetings join in using this technology. We have had some hiccups, but I am sure we can overcome this.
12.01.2022 Well time to carry out maintenance on the BBQ trailer after all these years of faithful service we bit the bullet and have got stuck into it so she is presentable for Australia Day Activities. Heartfelt thanks to Les Rush, Doug Gray, Dave Maddison, Tony Piggott, Mike & Fiona Baylis, Pauline Hogg, Kelly Garnham for 2 big Days. Tomorrow we will reload the trailer and tow it home and try to get it re sign written by Australia Day

What an awesome effort by our Lions and the community for the first day of our Bushfire Disaster Relief fundraiser. It’s not an easy job raising money via bucket collection, but our Lions took up the challenge

07.01.2022 Words just do not describe how i feel right now. Thank you to the crew from Lions at Bowraville for a new water tank as my tanks were left unusuable and leaking... from the fires. Bermagui and Districts Lions Club Moruya Lions Club Ulladulla Milton Lions Club Taree Lions Club Pambula Merimbula Lions Club With our local steam club donations $1,000 to Bega Lions Club $4,000 to Australia Lions Foundation. $2,000 of this was donated by the Humphries (our first presidents) family. Thank you very much Lions Lady Barbara $3,000 to Australian Lions Foundation to purchase a water tank, this cost includes installation and filling.
